At about 4:35 PM on September 1, 2026, personnel of the Bindoy Municipal Police Station, under the supervision of PMAJ GEREON A. ITEM, COP, coordinated with the school principal of Demeterio L. Alviola National High School regarding the security and safety preparations for the upcoming simulation exercise in the school. The objectives were to strengthen the harmonious partnership between the community and law enforcement and provide crime prevention tips in support of maintaining peace and security within the municipality, especially in schools.

CONDUCT OF VITAL INSTALLATION VISITATION
The personnel of Bindoy Municipal Police Station, under the leadership of Police Major GEREON A. ITEM, Acting Chief of Police, conducted vital installation visitation and police presence in the different money remittance centers/pawnshops in the Brgy Poblacion area. The establishment staff and security guards are reminded of the security measures and further advised to dial the 911 hotline in any call of emergencies, especially police response.

At about 4:33 PM. on September 1, 2026, PNP personnel of Bindoy Municipal Police Station under the leadership of PMAJ GEREON A. ITEM, COP, conducted police visibility and mobile patrolling at Demetrio L. Alviola National High School, Brgy. Tinaogan, Bindoy, Negros Oriental. The activity aimed to enhance police visibility and ensure the safety and security of students, teachers, and school personnel. To strengthen the partnership between the Philippine National Police and the educational institutions.
