📢 PUBLIC ADVISORY

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Eastern Samar informs the public that National ID registration services at the Fixed Registration Center (FRC), PSA Balud, Borongan City will be suspended on September 28, 2026 (Monday) in observance of the Special Non-Working Holiday in Eastern Samar commemorating Balangiga Encounter Day.

Regular registration services at the FRC will resume on the next working day.

📍 MOBILE NATIONAL ID REGISTRATION IN SULANGAN AND KALAW, EASTERN SAMAR

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Eastern Samar Provincial Statistical Office is currently conducting Mobile National ID Registration in Brgy. Sulangan, Guiuan, Eastern Samar, and Brgy. Kalaw, Oras, Eastern Samar, to cater to residents who have not yet registered with the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys).

Through this initiative, the PSA brings National ID registration services closer to communities, providing residents with a more accessible and convenient way to complete their registration.

Bringing services faster and closer to Filipinos.

During the Handog ng Pangulo 2026, held at the Provincial Capitol Gymnasium in Borongan City, Eastern Samar, Samelita C. Concan shared her testimonial on the importance of having a National ID.

“Gagamitin ko po ito sa pag-avail ng assistance sa TUPAD at sa iba pang mga serbisyo sa Gobyerno. Mairerekomenda ko po ito dahil ang National ID ay isang importanteng valid identification na ginagamit sa pag-avail ng serbisyo sa gobyerno.”

For Samelita, the National ID is an important valid identification that she can use when availing of TUPAD assistance and other government services. She also expressed her recommendation of the National ID to others as a reliable proof of identity when accessing government services.

🇵🇭 PSA Eastern Samar Brings National ID Services Closer to the People through Handog ng Pangulo 2026

BORONGAN CITY, Eastern Samar – The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Eastern Samar Provincial Statistical Office participated in the Handog ng Pangulo 2026, held at the Provincial Capitol Gymnasium in Borongan City, Eastern Samar, providing National ID registration and Paper Format printing services to beneficiaries and attendees.

The activity was graced by Assistant Secretary Rosalinda P. Bautista, Deputy National Statistician of the PhilSys Registry Office, who served as the representative of the President, together with Governor Ralph Vincent M. Evardone and heads and representatives of various government agencies.

Through its participation in the Handog ng Pangulo 2026, PSA Eastern Samar reaffirmed its commitment to bringing accessible, efficient, and convenient National ID services closer to the people, supporting the government’s efforts toward inclusive and responsive public service delivery.
