The Fires School, Individual Training Group, Training Command, Philippine Army joined the Simultaneous Ruck March in celebration of the 1st Anniversary of the Individual Training Group on 17 June 2026 at Camp BGen Manuel B Tinio, Cabanatuan City.
The activity highlighted unity, discipline, endurance, and commitment among participating personnel while strengthening camaraderie and support for Training Commandโs mission of developing capable and mission-ready soldiers.
The event also marked ITGโs first year of dedication and excellence in military training.

06 June 2026 - The Fires School, Individual Training Group, Training Command, Philippine Army participated in the Brigada Eskwela 2026 activities at Camp Tinio Elementary School and Camp Tinio High School both in Brgy. Camp Tinio, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija on 06 June 2026.
The activity was actively joined by Fires School students undergoing career courses during the 2nd Training Period CY 2026, including the Field Artillery Officer Basic Course Class 11-2026, Field Artillery Non-Commissioned Officer Advance Course Class 70-2026 and Field Artillery Non-Commissioned Officer Basic Course Class 114-2026.
Participants conducted clean-up, repair, and maintenance activities to help ensure that the schools were safe, orderly, and conducive to learning in preparation for the opening of classes. The initiative demonstrated the Fires Schoolโs steadfast commitment to community service, nation-building, and the promotion of quality education through volunteerism, teamwork, and active engagement with local communities.

03 June 2026 - The Assistant Chief of Staff for Education and Training, Philippine Army, COL NAPOLEON G AGONCILLO JR MNSA (INF) PA, visited the Fires School, Individual Training Group, Training Command, Philippine Army, to assess its training programs and engage with school personnel.
During the visit, productive discussions were conducted highlighting the school's accomplishments, ongoing training programs, and key initiatives aimed at advancing military education, enhancing training effectiveness, and strengthening the professional development of Philippine Army personnel.
The visit further underscored the Philippine Army's steadfast commitment to upholding the highest standards of training and education, ensuring the continuous development of competent, adaptive, and mission-ready soldiers capable of meeting the evolving demands of military service.

25 May 2026 โ The Fires School, Individual Training Group, Training Command, Philippine Army formally commenced the Field Artillery Career Courses for the 2nd Training Period CY 2026 through a simple, yet meaningful opening ceremony attended by officers, instructors, and trainees. The activity reaffirmed the Fires Schoolโs unwavering commitment to developing competent, disciplined, and mission-ready Artillery personnel capable of meeting the evolving demands of military operations.
The opening ceremony marked the official start of training for the Field Artillery Officer Basic Course Class 11-2026, Field Artillery Non-Commissioned Officer Advance Course Class 70-2026, and Field Artillery Non-Commissioned Officer Basic Course Class 114-2026. The activity was graced by the Commandant, Fires School, who served as the keynote speaker.
In his message, the Commandant emphasized the significance of discipline, professionalism, resilience, and continuous learning in achieving operational excellence and mission accomplishment. He further challenged the students to remain steadfast in their pursuit of excellence, maximize every learning opportunity, and uphold the core values of the Philippine Army as future leaders and stewards of the Field Artillery profession.

24 April 2026 - The Fires School under the Individual Training Group of the Training Command Philippine Army, successfully conducted the Closing Ceremony for the Field Artillery Officer Advance Course (FAOAC) Class 58-2026 and the Field Artillery Non-Commissioned Officer Basic Course (FANCOBC) Class 113-2026 for the 1st Training Period of 2026.
The ceremony was graced by COLONEL PETER G BAROLA PA (GSC), Assistant Chief of Staff for Logistics, IS4, ISAFP, who served as the Guest of Honor and Speaker and led the pinning of the Artillery AFPOS Badge to Field Artillery NCO Basic Course. In his address, he emphasized the vital role of field artillery personnel in modern military operations and challenged the graduates to uphold professionalism, discipline, and excellence in service.
The Commandant of Fires School, likewise lauded the graduates for their dedication and perseverance throughout the training period. He emphasized that the knowledge and skills they acquired will significantly contribute to strengthening the operational readiness of the Philippine Army.
The ceremony marked not only the culmination of rigorous training but also the beginning of greater responsibilities for the graduates as they return to their respective units equipped with enhanced competence in field artillery operations.
