Good news for workers in Region 10! ๐Ÿ‘
A daily minimum wage increase has been approved to benefit private-sector workers across the region.

Under Wage Order No. RB X No. 24, approved by the Regional Wage Board, minimum wage earners in the private sector will receive a โ‚ฑ39 daily wage increase, to be implemented in two tranches:

๐Ÿ“Œ First Tranche: โ‚ฑ25.00 โ€” effective January 16, 2026
๐Ÿ“Œ Second Tranche: โ‚ฑ14.00 โ€” effective May 1, 2026

The new wage rates apply to all minimum wage earners, both agricultural and non-agricultural, regardless of employment status or mode of payment.

On December 23, 2025, RTWPB-X successfully organized "Handog Paglaum," a GAD-inspired outreach initiative focused on promoting mental wellness and compassion at the House of Hope Foundation Inc. in Upper Palalan, Lumbia, Cagayan de Oro City.

The outreach aimed to raise awareness about mental health, foster empathy, and instill hope among vulnerable communities, particularly during this holiday season. RTWPB-X extended basic support and essential assistance to the beneficiaries as part of this meaningful initiative.

This event reflects RTWPB-X's continuing commitment to inclusive well-being and social responsibility in Northern Mindanao.

The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Boardโ€“Region X (RTWPB-X) successfully conducted its Year-End Performance Assessment and Team-Building Activity on December 18โ€“19, 2025 at Camp Zion, Claveria, Misamis Oriental.

With the theme โ€œStronger Together: Strengthening Commitment and Collaboration,โ€ the two-day activity provided a venue to assess accomplishments for the year, reflect on lessons learned, and identify strategies to further enhance organizational performance in the coming year.

The activity also aimed to strengthen teamwork, communication, and collaboration among personnel through interactive discussions and team-building exercises, fostering a supportive and cohesive work environment.
