Today, we proudly celebrate the rich heritage, traditions, and resilience of our Indigenous Cultural Communities/Indigenous Peoples. This year’s theme — ‘Indigenous Peoples and AI: Defending Rights, Shaping Futures’ — calls on us to embrace innovation while safeguarding the rights, cultures, and identities of our IPs in the digital age.

Let us honor their invaluable contributions in protecting our lands, preserving ancestral wisdom, and guiding us toward a future where technology and tradition work hand in hand. Together, we stand for unity, respect, and the empowerment of our Indigenous Peoples. 💛

As we welcome this new month, we are reminded by today's Our Daily Bread reading that 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀—𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀. In moments when we feel weak, burdened, or unsure, we can still look back and see how He never gave up on us. Like Israel in the wilderness, we too have wandered and doubted, yet God remained. Not because of who we are, but because of who He is.

We may not always feel strong, consistent, or even worthy—but God doesn’t love us for our perfection. He loves us for who He created us to be. And this month, we are invited to walk with that assurance: “𝗛𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗳𝘂𝗹, 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗛𝗶𝗺𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳.” (𝟮 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝟮:𝟭𝟯)

They dove into the heart of being S.A.L.T.Y. and L.I.G.H.T.S., and explored their calling through Career Development—all grounded in God’s purpose and plan for their lives. It was a joyful, meaningful time of growth, encouragement, and vision! 🙌

Today’s reminded us that God does this kind of thoughtful loving constantly. Psalm 139 tells us that God knows us—deeply, personally, and intimately. He doesn’t just look at the surface. He understands every fear we carry, every hope we hold, and every unspoken prayer. 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤, 𝐇𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬. 💛

It’s amazing to think about, and honestly, so comforting. In a world where we can sometimes feel invisible or misunderstood, God is the One who truly gets us. Thoughtfully. Intentionally. Lovingly.

Let’s hold onto this truth today: We are not unseen. We are known. And we are deeply cared for by a thoughtful God.
