The Local Government Unit of Baao, under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Jeff Besinio, joins the nation in commemorating the 𝟰𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 on July 17–23, 2026, a celebration that honors the strength, resilience, and contributions of persons with disabilities in building a more inclusive society.

Anchored on the theme, “𝘙𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘴 𝘍𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵, 𝘓𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘴𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘍𝘰𝘳𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 – 𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘤 𝘈𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘌𝘲𝘶𝘢𝘭 𝘗𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐𝘯𝘤𝘭𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘋𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵,” this year’s observance highlights the continuing pursuit of equal access, empowerment, and opportunities where persons with disabilities are recognized not by limitations, but by their abilities, talents, and valuable role in the community.

As we celebrate this meaningful week, LGU Baao remains committed to strengthening disability inclusion, promoting awareness, and working alongside stakeholders and communities in creating an environment where every person is heard, respected, and empowered to participate fully in society.

Ngayong taon, itinatampok ang temang:
“𝘎𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘈𝘯𝘪 𝘯𝘨 𝘗𝘢𝘨-𝘪𝘣𝘪𝘨 𝘛𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘰 𝘴𝘢 𝘔𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘨𝘶𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘺 𝘢𝘵 𝘛𝘶𝘯𝘢𝘺 𝘯𝘢 𝘐𝘯𝘬𝘭𝘶𝘴𝘺𝘰𝘯.”
