Demonstrating its continued commitment to enforcing the law and bringing wanted individuals to justice, personnel of the Carcar City Police Station successfully arrested a Top 9 Municipal-Level Most Wanted Person for violation of Section 5, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
At around 5:50 PM on October 20, 2026, personnel from the Intelligence, Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), and Warrant Server of Carcar City Police Station conducted a warrant service operation at Sitio Tacdog, Barangay Poblacion 3, Carcar City, Cebu. The operation was carried out by a team led by PLT NIEL T MANSUETO, Deputy Chief of Police, under the direct supervision of ๐ฃ๐๐ง๐๐ข๐ ๐๐ฅ๐ช๐๐ก ๐๐ฆ ๐ก๐๐๐๐ข๐ก๐๐, Chief of Police, through Target Intelligence Packet (TIP).
The operation resulted in the arrest of the wanted individual by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 77, 7th Judicial Region, Carcar City, Cebu, for violation of Section 5, Article II of RA 9165. The warrant carried ๐ป๐ผ ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ถ๐น, underscoring the seriousness of the charge.
Following the arrest, the accused was informed of the nature of the offense and apprised of his constitutional rights in a language or dialect known to him. He was subsequently turned over to the Carcar City Jail for proper custody and further legal proceedings.
This successful operation reflects the dedication of Carcar City Police Station in locating wanted individuals, enforcing court-issued warrants, and strengthening public safety through focused and intelligence-driven police operations.
