𝐶𝑎𝑡𝑎𝑟𝑚𝑎𝑛, 𝑁𝑜𝑟𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑛 𝑆𝑎𝑚𝑎𝑟 — The Northern Samar Public Employment Service Office (NSPESO) is currently conducting a two-day Special Recruitment Activity (SRA) for Principalia Management and Personnel Consultants, Inc., an accredited recruitment agency hiring domestic helpers and skilled workers bound for Qatar, Australia, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Hong Kong.

Now on its final day, the activity continues to attract interested applicants from different municipalities across the province who are seeking overseas employment opportunities. Screening and interview sessions are being conducted at the NSPESO Conference Room, 2nd Floor, Capitol Gym, Provincial Capitol, Dalakit, Catarman, Northern Samar, where agency representatives are assessing qualified candidates.

The Special Recruitment Activity aims to bring legitimate overseas job opportunities closer to Nortehanons and provide a safer and more accessible pathway toward employment abroad. Our next feature highlights Hon. Albert P. Yruma, a proud son of Las Navas, Northern Samar, who now serves as Presiding Judge at the Municipal Circuit Trial Court of Pambujan-Silvino Lubos, Northern Samar. He graduated with a degree in AB Political Science from the University of Eastern Philippines before pursuing his law degree and eventually entering public service through the judiciary.

During his childhood, he experienced bullying and discouragement because of his physical condition as a person with disability. Those difficult experiences became one of the driving forces behind his dream of becoming a lawyer, believing that one day he would be able to protect not only himself, but also others facing similar struggles. Although he excelled in mathematics and once considered pursuing Engineering or Architecture, he ultimately chose law with the hope of using his voice, knowledge, and determination to stand for justice. Coming from a humble family, he pursued his education with perseverance and proved that physical limitations do not define a person’s capability.

Even in the legal profession, he admits that he still encounters unfair treatment because of his condition, yet he continues to prove that in court, it is intelligence, integrity, and competence that truly matter. He remains humble, approachable, and committed to helping others, especially fellow PWDs, through legal guidance, inspiration, and pro bono services. Through his journey, he hopes to see more persons with disabilities rise beyond society’s limitations and achieve success in their chosen fields.
