Sa Barangay San Pascual, may lugar para sa bawat kulay, bawat kwento, at bawat tinig. Ipinagdiriwang natin ngayong Pride Month ang pagmamahal, pagkakakilanlan, tapang, at pagkakapantay-pantay ng bawat isa.

Nawa’y magsilbi itong paalala na ang lahat ay nararapat na makita, pahalagahan, igalang, at tanggapin sa ating komunidad. Sama-sama nating itaguyod ang isang ligtas, inklusibo, at mapagkalingang San Pascual para sa lahat.

𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗕 𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻: 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 🔥

Last April 28, 2026 at exactly 7:30 PM, the San Pascual Covered Court, Brgy. San Pascual, Catarman, Northern Samar became a place filled with joy, celebration, inspiration, and unity as the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay San Pascual successfully conducted the ALAB ng Kabataan: Youth Night of Victory and Purpose with the theme “Empowering the Youth through Sports, Unity, and Environmental Action”.

The event served not only as the culminating activity of the ALAB ng Kabataan Para sa Kalikasan Sports Fest 2026, but also as a meaningful gathering that recognized the achievements, talents, leadership, and active participation of the youth in promoting sportsmanship, camaraderie, and environmental awareness.

The program formally started with an Invocation led by the San Pascual Youths, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem. The atmosphere of the evening was filled with enthusiasm and pride as the youth, guests, players, officials, and community members gathered together for a night dedicated to celebrating success and purpose-driven leadership.

A warm and heartfelt Welcome Address was delivered by Hon. Jellian D. Macorro, SK Member, who expressed gratitude to everyone who continuously supported the activities and advocacies of the youth sector. An inspiring and empowering message was also delivered by Hon. Otelia D. Cerbito, Punong Barangay, who emphasized the importance of youth participation, unity, and environmental action in building a stronger and more progressive community.

The event also became an avenue for transparency and accountability through the conduct of the 1st Semester Katipunan ng Kabataan Assembly 2026. During the assembly, the Presentation of the Annual Barangay Youth Investment Program (ABYIP) for Fiscal Year 2026 was discussed by the designated SK Members and Committee Chairpersons according to the Centers of Youth Participation. The youth were also informed about the Presentation of the Approved Annual Budget for FY 2026 by Hon. Jellian D. Macorro, SK Budget Monitoring Officer, the Presentation of Financial Report for Fiscal Year 2025 and First Quarter of 2026 by Ms. Nermy D. Redoblado, SK Treasurer, the Presentation of Reportorial Status and Submission from 2025 to April 2026 by Ms. Erica M. Garcia, SK Secretary, and the Presentation of SK Accomplishments from Fiscal Year 2025 to April 2026 by Hon. Arnel E. Loberiano, SK Chairperson.

The night became even more lively and memorable through the Presentation of Talents by the San Pascual Youths who showcased their incredible skills, confidence, and creativity. The celebration continued with the much-awaited Awarding Proper for the Inter-color Basketball Tournament Winners, Most Valuable Players (MVPs), and the Giving of Certificates of Appreciation to all generous sponsors and supporters who made the successful conduct of the sports fest possible.

🥉 The GREEN TEAM: EMERALD EARTH WARRIORS emerged as the 4th Placer for Consolation Prize and received a Certificate and ₱1,000 Cash Prize.
🥉 The BLUE TEAM: BLUE WAVE GUARDIAN became the 3rd Placer for Consolation Prize and received a Certificate and ₱2,000 Cash Prize.
🥈 The YELLOW TEAM: GOLDEN SUN STRIKERS proudly secured the 2nd Placer and received a Certificate, Trophy, and ₱4,000 Cash Prize.
🥇 The VIOLET TEAM: VIOLET STORM BREAKERS emerged as the 1st Placer and received a Certificate, Trophy, and ₱6,000 Cash Prize.

Annabelle Lim, and Rice Prize for each player sponsored by Mr. Niko “NIKOS VLOG” Loberiano. Their determination, teamwork, discipline, and perseverance truly ignited the spirit of ALAB ng Kabataan.

During the Closing Remarks, Hon. Arnel E. Loberiano, SK Chairperson, emphasized that the ALAB ng Kabataan: Youth Night of Victory and Purpose was not only a celebration of sports but also a celebration of youth unity, leadership, teamwork, and resilience. He reminded everyone that the youth are leaders and changemakers capable of creating positive impact in the community through sports, environmental action, and service. He also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all sponsors, volunteers, players, committees, and supporters who contributed to the success of the event, while inspiring the San Pascualanon youth to continue carrying the fire of “ALAB ng Kabataan” through unity and action.

The celebration continued with dancing, photo opportunities, and socials led by Hon. Noimy D. Redoblado and Jellian M. De Guzman, making the night more memorable and meaningful for everyone present.

Indeed, the ALAB ng Kabataan: Youth Night of Victory and Purpose was more than just a celebration of victories in sports—it became a testament to the power of youth leadership, unity, friendship, environmental responsibility, and community participation. Through this initiative, the youth of Barangay San Pascual once again proved that when young people come together with passion and purpose, they can become catalysts of positive change and hope for the future.

𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦 || 𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗕 𝗡𝗚 𝗞𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗧𝗔𝗔𝗡 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗔 𝗦𝗔 𝗞𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗔𝗦𝗔𝗡 𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗦 𝗙𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The spirit of sportsmanship, camaraderie, youth empowerment, and environmental awareness ignited as the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay San Pascual officially kicked off the ALAB ng Kabataan Para sa Kalikasan Sports Fest 2026 last April 9, 2026 at the Covered Court of Barangay San Pascual, Catarman, Northern Samar. Guided by this year’s meaningful theme, “Aksyon Laban para sa Ating Buhay at Kalikasan,” the activity served not only as a celebration of athletic excellence but also as a movement encouraging the youth to become active stewards of the environment and responsible members of the community.

The day started with a vibrant and energetic parade at exactly 7:30 in the morning, participated in by the different teams, SK Officials, youth volunteers, barangay officials, and community members. The enthusiasm and unity shown during the parade reflected the determination of the young people to take part in activities that promote both healthy lifestyles and environmental consciousness. Following the parade was the Programme Proper which formally opened the much-awaited sports fest.

The ceremony began with an Opening Prayer followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, symbolizing unity, patriotism, and solidarity among the participants. An inspiring Opening Message was delivered by Hon. Arnel E. Loberiano, SK Chairperson, who emphasized the importance of youth involvement in sports and environmental action. This was followed by the Inspirational Message of Hon. Otelia D. Cerbito, Punong Barangay, who encouraged the youth to continue becoming instruments of positive change in the community through discipline, teamwork, and leadership.

The programme became even more lively with the Youthful Messages from the honored SB Members and guests who shared words of encouragement and support to all participating teams. One of the highlights of the opening ceremony was the Presentation of Teams, where every group proudly showcased their unity, energy, and fighting spirit. Afterwards, Ms. Michelle D. Macorro, the Sports Committee, conducted the Rules Discussion to ensure fairness, sportsmanship, and proper conduct throughout the entire tournament.

The excitement reached its peak during the Oath Taking and Ceremonial Ball Toss, symbolizing the official opening of the ALAB ng Kabataan Para sa Kalikasan Sports Fest 2026. To conclude the programme, Hon. Jellian D. Macorro, SK Member, delivered the Closing Remarks expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the opening event and reminding the youth that sports can become a powerful avenue for unity, discipline, and environmental advocacy.

Following the successful programme proper were the thrilling games participated in by the different competing teams. The tournament officially commenced with the intense and action-filled Round Robin Round, where teams showcased their skills, teamwork, and determination to secure their spots in the next level of competition. The excitement continued during the highly competitive Semi-Final Round, where every game became more intense as teams battled for a chance to enter the championship stage. Finally, the much-awaited Championship Round brought unforgettable moments of passion, perseverance, and sportsmanship as the best teams competed for glory and honor.

Indeed, the ALAB ng Kabataan Para sa Kalikasan Sports Fest 2026 became more than just a sports event—it became a celebration of youth leadership, unity, environmental awareness, and community participation. Through this initiative, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay San Pascual continues to prove that the youth are not only future leaders but also present movers of action and change for both the community and the environment.

The Sangguniang Kabataan ng Barangay San Pascual, in collaboration with the Rural Health Unit of Catarman, successfully conducted the Healthy Young One’s (HYO) Activity held on May 4, 2026 at San Pascual DayCare Center, Brgy. San Pascual, Catarman, Northern Samar— a significant initiative dedicated to promoting holistic health education among the youth. This activity aimed to equip young individuals with the right information, values, and mindset as they navigate the important stages of growth and development.

With the support and expertise of the Department of Health (DOH), participants were given the opportunity to engage in insightful and meaningful discussions on essential topics such as puberty, gender and health, the reproductive system, reproduction and responsibility, menstruation, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), as well as HIV and AIDS. Each topic was carefully explained to ensure that the youth not only understood the biological aspects but also the importance of making informed, respectful, and responsible choices in their daily lives.

The activity created a safe and open space where participants could listen, learn, and reflect—breaking misconceptions and encouraging healthy conversations that are often left unspoken. It served as a reminder that knowledge is a powerful tool in protecting oneself and others, and that being informed is the first step toward a healthier and more responsible future.

As the symposium came to a close, one message stood out and resonated strongly among the participants: “Isip-isip before you unzip.” A simple yet powerful reminder that emphasizes self-respect, accountability, and wise decision-making.

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay San Pascual, in strong collaboration with the Sangguniang Barangay of San Pascual, together with the dedicated youth and committed community volunteers, successfully conducted the Sagip-Ilog Program: Kabataang River Warriors on April 24, 2026, at the San Pascual River. This meaningful initiative was carried out with the goal of promoting environmental conservation and strengthening awareness through collective and purposeful action. It stands as a testament to what unity and shared responsibility can achieve when a community comes together for a common cause.

The activity primarily focused on cleaning and rehabilitating the river, which plays a vital role in the daily lives of the residents. For many households, the river serves as an accessible and essential source of water used for bathing, washing dishes, doing laundry, and other domestic needs. Recognizing its importance, the youth took the lead in protecting this natural resource, understanding that maintaining its cleanliness directly contributes to the health, safety, and well-being of the entire barangay.

Beyond the physical clean-up, the program also served as a platform to instill environmental responsibility among the youth and community members. It highlighted the importance of discipline, proper waste disposal, and sustainable practices to prevent pollution and preserve natural resources for future generations. The activity encouraged everyone to become stewards of the environment—not only during organized events but in their everyday actions.

Through teamwork, determination, and a shared vision for a cleaner and greener community, the Kabataang River Warriors demonstrated that the youth are not just leaders of tomorrow, but active changemakers of today. The journey comes to an exciting close as the Final Day of the Championship of the ALAB NG KABATAAN PARA SA KALIKASAN SPORTS FEST 2026 was held on April 24, 2026. In the much-awaited final game at 6:30 AM, the Violet Storm Breakers faced off once more against the formidable Crimson Blaze Runners in a battle for ultimate glory. Both teams gave their all, but it was the Crimson Blaze Runners who rose above the challenge, delivering a dominant performance and securing a convincing 100–79 victory.

With this final win, the Crimson Blaze Runners officially claim the championship title, proving their strength, teamwork, and determination throughout the tournament. The official tally of the championship round reflects their dominance, finishing with a clean 3–0 record, while the Violet Storm Breakers concluded with a 0–3 standing. Congratulations to both teams for an incredible finals showdown, and to all participants who made this sports fest a celebration of youth, unity, and passion for the game. Truly, this has been a remarkable display of talent and sportsmanship.
