In celebration of the International Coastal Clean-Up Day 2025, environmentally committed BS Fisheries students, together with the NSTP students and the College of Science took part in a meaningful clean-up drive along our local coastline.
Armed with gloves, sacks, and a shared mission, students worked hand in hand along the local shoreline of the University of Eastern Philippinesโ removing plastic waste, discarded fishing gear, and other debris that threaten marine life. This meaningful activity not only contributes to a cleaner environment but also strengthens studentsโ awareness of their role as future fisheries professionals and responsible citizens.
Let's unite for cleaner oceans and a healthier planet! ๐๐
