Every year, ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐โ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ซ๐ง ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ซ takes time to step away from our usual office routine and gives everyone a chance to relax, recharge, and enjoy meaningful moments with colleagues. This year, our annual ๐๐๐๐ฆ ๐๐ฎ๐ข๐ฅ๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ง๐๐๐ซ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ (๐๐๐) ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ was held on ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐โ๐๐, ๐๐๐๐, at ๐๐จ๐๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐ ๐๐๐ฌ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ, ๐๐ซ๐ ๐ฒ. ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ง, ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง, ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ฌ๐จ๐ ๐จ๐ง, with the theme โ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ ๐๐ญ๐ก๐๐ซ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ฎ๐๐๐๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐

The activity was more than just a simple getaway or a series of fun games. It was a much-needed opportunity for everyone to take a break from the demands of our daily work, relax our minds, refresh our bodies, and strengthen our relationships with one another.
One of the meaningful parts of the activity was the team-building talk on work barriers. The discussion gave us an opportunity to openly reflect on the different challenges that we experience in the workplace. These may include communication gaps, differences in personalities and perspectives, pressure from workloads, misunderstandings, and other situations that can sometimes affect how we work as a team.
The discussion reminded us that work barriers are normal in any organization, but what matters is how we deal with them. Instead of allowing these challenges to create distance among colleagues, we were encouraged to communicate openly, understand one another, respect different opinions, and find ways to work together. Sometimes, a simple conversation, a little understanding, and a willingness to listen can already make a big difference.
The different team-building activities prepared by the Team Building Committee headed by Election Officer Marimel Tagle, together with her co-committee members, also allowed everyone to experience the value of teamwork in a fun and relaxed way. Through the games and activities, we laughed, competed, supported one another, and created memories that we can bring back to the workplace.
What made the activity special was seeing everyone outside the usual office environment. We were able to see a different side of our colleagues, share stories, laugh together, and simply enjoy each otherโs company. These simple moments helped strengthen our camaraderie and reminded us that behind every office task and election responsibility are people who also need time to breathe, recharge, and reconnect.
The three-day activity may have been short, but it gave us something valuableโa refreshed mind, renewed energy, stronger relationships, and a better understanding of the importance of working together.
As we continue our preparations for the upcoming elections, may we remember the lessons from our team-building activity: break down barriers, communicate better, respect one another, support your teammates, and work toward one common goal.
Because in ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, we may have different assignments and responsibilities, but we are all part of one team working for the same purpose.
