The 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘆𝗮𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 (𝗩𝗶𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗣), one of the 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗨𝗴𝗻𝗮𝘆 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱, underwent field validation by the 𝗗𝗢𝗦𝗧-𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗗𝗢𝗦𝗧-𝗣𝗖𝗔𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗗) 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲 at Samar State University (SSU). Among the initiatives visited was the 𝗜𝗦𝗟𝗔-𝗟𝗘𝘁𝗦 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺, with the program team and representatives from partner agencies, including 𝗟𝗚𝗨-𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁, 𝗗𝗧𝗜, 𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗥-𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗥𝗢, 𝗕𝗙𝗔𝗥, and farm leaders from 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘂𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗱𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮, participating in the validation activities.

During the validation at the RIC-Audio Visual Center, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗠. 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗮, 𝗜𝗦𝗟𝗔-𝗟𝗘𝘁𝗦 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 and 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝟮: 𝗔𝗚𝗛𝗔𝗠, together with project leaders 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗼𝗻 𝗝. 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗝𝗿. and 𝗠𝗿. 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘄 𝗠. 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮, and members of the program team, presented the accomplishments of its four component projects: 𝗞𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗔, 𝗔𝗚𝗛𝗔𝗠, 𝗕𝗨𝗛𝗔𝗬 and 𝗬𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗡. Aside from ISLA-LEtS CARE, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗪, 𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗥𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗖. 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻 and represented during the validation 𝗯𝘆 𝗠𝗿. 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗲, 𝗝𝗿. and the project team, was also visited. The field validation enabled the External Evaluation Committee to assess these ViCARP-supported initiatives in terms of their implementation, partnerships, accomplishments, and community impact.

𝐈𝐒𝐋𝐀-𝐋𝐄𝐭𝐒 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐋𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐩 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬

On 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟰–𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the 𝗜𝗦𝗟𝗔-𝗟𝗘𝘁𝗦 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺, through 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗔𝗚𝗛𝗔𝗠, conducted a simultaneous field activity at the Project Demo Farm in 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘂𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗱𝗮𝗻, 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺, 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿, focusing on the integration of Samar Lagundi (Vitex negundo), crop maintenance, and w**ding.

The activity introduced the planting of Samar Lagundi around the demonstration farm as a natural insect repellent, supporting an eco-friendly approach to crop protection while reducing dependence on chemical pesticides. This practice forms part of the program's promotion of sustainable and climate-resilient farming technologies.

Alongside the lagundi integration, the project team and farmer-participants carried out crop maintenance and w**ding activities to improve crop health, reduce w**d competition, and promote better plant growth throughout the demonstration area.

Through these activities, the ISLA-LEtS CARE Program continues to encourage the adoption of environmentally sustainable farming practices that enhance agricultural productivity while protecting the local ecosystem.

𝐈𝐒𝐋𝐀-𝐋𝐄𝐭𝐒 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞-𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐩 𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐫𝐠𝐲. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐮𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐝𝐚𝐧

On 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟰–𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the 𝗜𝗦𝗟𝗔-𝗟𝗘𝘁𝗦 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺, through 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗔𝗚𝗛𝗔𝗠, conducted a two-day construction of a 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲-𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗽 at the 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺 in 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘂𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗱𝗮𝗻, 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺, 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿.

The activity focused on establishing a 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲-𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺, where chickens are allowed to roam freely in an open area while having a secure coop for shelter, protection, and egg laying. The newly constructed chicken coop will serve as the 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗱𝗲, 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮, and 𝗲𝗴𝗴-𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 for the free-range chickens, providing a healthier and more natural environment that promotes better animal welfare and productivity.

The construction of the coop forms part of the program's efforts to introduce 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲-𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗼𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 that can help improve egg production, reduce production costs, and provide additional livelihood opportunities for the farming community.

Through initiatives like this, the 𝗜𝗦𝗟𝗔-𝗟𝗘𝘁𝗦 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 continues to strengthen community-based agricultural development by promoting innovative and sustainable farming technologies.

On 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟭𝟱–𝟭𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the 𝗜𝗦𝗟𝗔-𝗟𝗘𝘁𝗦 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺, through 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗔𝗚𝗛𝗔𝗠, conducted a two-day training on 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝗽 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗱𝘀 in 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗔𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮, 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺, 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿. The activity was based on the community's validated training needs and aimed to strengthen the agricultural knowledge and skills of local farmers.

The training was facilitated by 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗠𝘀. 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗮𝗵𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗠. 𝗖𝗮𝗷𝘂𝗯𝗮𝗻 and 𝗠𝘀. 𝗗𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗕. 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗮𝘆. The activity began with a preliminary assessment, followed by discussions on understanding farm systems, soil characteristics (including soil texture, pH, structure, organic matter, soil horizons, and suitable crops), soil texture testing through the Jar Sedimentation Test, and methods for improving acidic soils.

Participants also learned about crop water requirements, seed germination, land preparation, tillage methods, erosion control, drainage considerations, planting methods, seed classification and treatment, vegetable and root crop cultivation, pollination, w**ding, mulching, fertilization, integrated pest management, pruning, and intercropping. The training concluded with a post-assessment to evaluate the participants' learning.

Through this activity, the ISLA-LEtS CARE Program continues to provide science-based agricultural training that promotes sustainable farming practices and strengthens the capacity of farming communities in Daram.

On 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟭𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the 𝗜𝗦𝗟𝗔-𝗟𝗘𝘁𝗦 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺, through 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗔𝗚𝗛𝗔𝗠, conducted a training on 𝗣𝗼𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 for members of the 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘂𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗱𝗮𝗻 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 in 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘂𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗱𝗮𝗻, 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺, 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿. The activity aimed to strengthen farmers' knowledge and skills in sustainable poultry production as an additional livelihood opportunity.

The training was facilitated by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗝𝗼𝘆 𝗢. 𝗘𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗼, 𝗟𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁 and 𝗜𝗦𝗟𝗔-𝗟𝗘𝘁𝗦 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗳𝗳, who discussed the different chicken breeds commonly used for poultry farming, including egg layers, broilers, and dual-purpose breeds for egg and meat production. She also explained the different feed types, including starter, grower, and finisher feeds, and their importance in each stage of chicken growth.

The session also covered the basic anatomy of chickens, common poultry diseases, disease prevention and management, and sustainable poultry farming practices that help improve productivity while maintaining proper animal health and welfare.

Through this activity, the ISLA-LEtS CARE Program continues to equip farming communities with practical, science-based knowledge that supports sustainable livestock production, improved food security, and enhanced livelihood opportunities.

On 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the 𝗜𝗦𝗟𝗔-𝗟𝗘𝘁𝗦 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺, through 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗕𝗨𝗛𝗔𝗬, conducted the 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗽 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗻𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘆 with the 𝗦𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗔𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮 𝗙𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗸 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 in 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗔𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮, 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺, 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿.

The activity marked the beginning of the community-based mangrove nursery establishment, which aims to support future 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 in the area. Members of the Sitio Mandagara Astorga Fisherfolk Association prepared the nursery site and completed the initial setup of the nursery structure, which will be used to propagate and nurture mangrove seedlings for future planting activities.

Once operational, the mangrove nursery will provide a sustainable source of quality mangrove seedlings for coastal rehabilitation while encouraging greater community participation in the protection and management of coastal ecosystems.

Through this initiative, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗕𝗨𝗛𝗔𝗬 continues to promote environmental stewardship and sustainable coastal resource management by empowering local fisherfolk to take an active role in conserving and restoring their coastal environment.

On 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the 𝗜𝗦𝗟𝗔-𝗟𝗘𝘁𝗦 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺, together with the 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘂𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗱𝗮𝗻 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, successfully harvested 𝟲𝟴.𝟱 𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗼 from the project's demo farm in 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘂𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗱𝗮𝗻, 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺, 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿.

Following the harvest, the team produced 1,106 clean planting materials from the harvested sweetpotato. These were then distributed and planted with the 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗔𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 in 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗔𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮, 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺, 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿, expanding the use of quality planting materials and promoting improved sweetpotato production in another farming community.

The activity forms part of the program's continuing effort to promote sustainable farming practices, increase the availability of clean planting materials, and encourage the replication of improved agricultural technologies among local farmers.

Through initiatives like this, the ISLA-LEtS CARE Program continues to support farming communities by enhancing crop productivity, promoting science-based agriculture, and improving sustainable livelihood opportunities.

𝐈𝐒𝐋𝐀-𝐋𝐄𝐭𝐒 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐈𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐀𝐆𝐇𝐀𝐌

The 𝗜𝗦𝗟𝗔-𝗟𝗘𝘁𝗦 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺, through 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗔𝗚𝗛𝗔𝗠, conducted a two-day activity on 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟰–𝟮𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, to establish a community seaw**d farming demonstration in support of sustainable coastal livelihoods.

On 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the project team traveled to Guiuan, Eastern Samar to source 164 kilograms of quality seaw**d planting materials. The activity ensured the availability of healthy planting materials for the project's seaw**d production initiative.

On 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the team carried out the 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗽 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 in 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗔𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮, 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺, 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿. The activity was led by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘄 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮, Project AGHAM Member, together with 𝗠𝗿. 𝗥𝗮𝘂𝗹 𝗧. 𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗻, Agricultural Technologist from the 𝗙𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺, 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿. Participants were oriented on the proper handling and installation of the seaw**d planting materials before proceeding with the actual establishment of the seaw**d farm.

The activity marks another milestone of Project AGHAM in promoting science-based and sustainable aquaculture practices while providing coastal communities with opportunities to enhance their livelihood through seaw**d production.
