Dili man tingali dako tan-awon ang ilang gibuhat, pero dako kaayo ang ilang paningkamot, oras, ug serbisyo para mapadayon nga limpyo, hapsay, ug luwas ang atong palibot.

Apan, uban niini, kami naghangyo usab sa tanang residente ug lumulupyo:

Dili nato tugutan nga ang kakapoy ug paningkamot sa atong BEO-CESET masayang tungod lang kay balik-balik gihapon ang paglabay og basura dinhi.

Kung kita mismo makat-on sa paglabay sa basura sa hustong lugar, dako na kaayo kini nga tabang sa atong barangay ug sa mga nagserbisyo para kanato.

👉 Ampingi ang mga lugar nga gilimpiyohan.

STRENGTHENING AWARENESS, PROMOTING EQUALITY!

Recently concluded is our 2-Day Gender Sensitivity Training, an enriching and meaningful learning experience focused on deepening our understanding of Gender and Development (GAD) and promoting a more inclusive, respectful, and gender-responsive community.

The training featured very informative and engaging Resource Speakers who shared valuable insights on gender sensitivity, gender bias, stereotypes, discrimination, and other GAD-related concerns, as well as important laws, policies, and guidelines that protect and promote gender equality and the rights of every individual.

The two-day session provided participants with a deeper appreciation of how gender-related issues affect individuals, families, workplaces, and communities—and how we can all contribute to creating an environment where everyone is respected, heard, valued, and given equal opportunities.

Our sincere appreciation to our knowledgeable Resource Speakers, organizers, facilitators, and all participants for making this training a productive and meaningful learning experience.

May the lessons we gained from these two days translate into greater awareness, positive actions, and stronger commitment to Gender and Development.

Together, let us break gender biases, challenge stereotypes, uphold our laws, and continue building a more inclusive and gender-responsive community.

Strengthening Preparedness: A Unified Response to EL NIÑO Summit 2026

We had the opportunity to participate in the “Strengthening Preparedness: A Unified Response to El Niño Summit 2026” held at Cebu Business Hotel, bringing together the Cebu City Government, headed by City Mayor Hon. Nestor Archival, together with representatives from MCWD, water suppliers, various stakeholders, and upland and lowland barangays from both the North and South districts of Cebu City.

The summit served as an important venue for sharing ideas, experiences, concerns, and practical solutions as we prepare for the possible challenges that may arise from the El Niño phenomenon, particularly the threat of water shortage and a potential water crisis.

Preparedness is a shared responsibility. The participation of our water service providers, suppliers, stakeholders, and barangay leaders is crucial in developing a unified, coordinated, and responsive plan to ensure that our communities are better prepared should water resources become limited.

From strengthening water conservation efforts and improving coordination, to identifying alternative sources and developing appropriate contingency measures, every idea and commitment matters.

As communities, we must act early, work together, and prepare collectively. Let us continue promoting responsible water use and supporting initiatives that will help protect our families and communities from the possible impacts of El Niño.

Seal of Good Local Governance for Barangays (SGLGB) - Batch 1 Orientation

A successful SGLGB (Seal of Good Local Governance for Barangay) conducted at the Social Hall of the Liga ng mga Barangay - Cebu City today together with DILG Cebu City, headed by City Director Jonah Pino, CESO V and other partner agencies present.

It was a comprehensive discussion and a challenge to all 80 barangays to showcase strengthened commitment to good governance, transparency, accountability, and quality public service.
