Specifically, throughout 25 years of existence, NKE and the students and the people have, together, reaped victories in and outside the school, such as: (1) cementing of AS Parking Lot; (2) construction of College Clinic; (3) Multi-Sectoral Assemblies/Consultation (first to start); (4) reopening of 2nd Gate; (5) defending UP High from closure; (6) establishment of Unified Student Organizations (UNISO); (7) establishment of SC Volunteer Corps; (10) extension of Fine Arts Curfew; (11) extension of Library Hours; (12) scrapping of Late Registration Fee; (13) November WALKOUT Against Budget Cut in UP Cebu; (14) Avila Ouster Movement (led the students); (15) consistent campaigns against increase in tuition and other fees; (15) Basic Masses Integrations, which, recently, it supported the Aloguinsan farmers from land grabbing.

This school year, NKE, the students, teachers, workers and the people have worked for and achieved the following: (1) NEW UP Cebu Dean Campaign where NKE held a dialogue with the nominees to push for the inclusion students’ agenda in the vision and plans of each nominee; (2) had a short dialogue with OIC-Assoc. Dean Michael Francis Abad to clear the accountability of Sugbo (Cebu City) Scholars (approved); (3) sent a letter of request to extend enrollment for financially challenged (approved); (4) requested for the extension of application for graduation (approved); (5) united with Velez students and teachers in their movement to defend Velez teachers from illegal dismissal (Nov. 9, 2013); (6) launched a signature campaign for the reinstate of Student Representation in the College’s Dean’s Executive Staff (DES) and College’s Executive Committee (ExeCom); (7) launched a donation drive for the Pablo victims; (8) launched a localized STFAP review; (9) proposed and implemented "Improvised Rainwater Catchment Facility" Project for Gibitngil residents and placed among the Top 12 in the 2012 Unilab Ideas Positive; (10) actively participated in the Junk Cybercrime Law Campaign; (11) actively participated in the One Billion Rising Cebu and UP Cebu Rising, being one of the conveners; among others.

With NKE in the Student Council, the student body will have a leadership that will continue engaging them in pushing for their rights and welfare and in defending and promoting the rights and welfare of the Filipino people, as a whole.
