14CMOBn spreads holiday cheer with Christmas Dance and Caroling Competition

CAMP LAPULAPU, Cebu City - As part of its month-long year-end celebration, the 14th Civil-Military Operations "Katipanan" Battalion (14CMOBn) hosted a dazzling Christmas Dance and Caroling Competition showcasing the extraordinary talents of its members, December 8.

The event brought the festive spirit to life as participants from different companies delivered vibrant and creative dance routines and soulful caroling performances.

The lively competition highlighted various dance styles and musical interpretations, embodying the joy and unity that the Christmas season inspires.

Judges faced the tough challenge of selecting winners, as each team impressed with their artistry, energy, and enthusiasm. The performances reflected not only exceptional talent but also the camaraderie and teamwork that define the 14CMOBn.

The 14CMOBn’s commitment to fostering unity and morale through events like these underscores the importance of shared joy and creativity, especially during the holiday season.

LOOK| In an effort to improve teamwork and provide exceptional community service, the 1st Civil-Military Operations (Kahanas) Company under the 14th Civil-Military Operations (Katipanan) Battalion's attended the Teach4ED Partner Center Manager's Training 2024 at the Cebu Quincentennial Hotel in Cebu City on December 4.

The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) organized the event with the goal of providing participants with cutting-edge digital tools and online platforms to improve the services provided at their individual Tech4ED-Digital Transformation Centers.

One of DICT's initiatives to advance digital inclusion nationwide is the Tech4ED program (Technology for Education, Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Economic Development). The lectures include Gender-Fair Language, Digital Parenting, Cyber Hygiene, Introduction to Minecraft Education, Demonstration of Minecraft Education, Introduction to Mobile Robotics and Demonstration of Mobile Robotics.

The training program was designed to empower center managers with the latest digital platforms and innovations, which are key to improving community access to ICT services, e-learning, and government services. It included hands-on sessions on digital platforms as well as discussions on best practices for managing and operating Tech4ED centers.

The Kahanas Troopers will continue to serve the community with the help of government agencies and ensure the delivery of basic services to the Filipino people.

14CMOBn spreads Christmas joy in Brgy. Guizo, Mandaue City

CAMP LAPULAPU Cebu City- In the spirit of unity and giving, the 14th Civil-Military Operations "Katipanan" Battalion (14CMOBn) conducted the CMOR Christmas "Give Back" Project in Brgy. Guizo, Mandaue City, Cebu, on December 6.

The event brought joy and support to members of the Tipolo Residents Organization (TRO) and MUPATAI. Its success was made possible through the efforts of barangay officials, House of Fruitas, Jollibee, and 2nd Lieutenant Shy Mari Fajilagutan, representing the Commander of JTG-Cebu.

The celebration included parlor games for children and adults, engaging mascot performances by House of Fruitas, Katipanan Repertoire, and Jollibee, and a feeding program organized by Brgy. Tipolo and the Mandaue Triskelion Elders Organization.

A highlight of the event was the distribution of gifts, which brought smiles to the faces of the beneficiaries, especially the children.

This meaningful initiative showcased 14CMOBn's commitment to community welfare and exemplified the bayanihan spirit of giving and togetherness during the Christmas season.

LOOK| A collaborative effort between the LGU, national agencies, and the Philippine Army's 2nd Platoon, 2nd CMO Company was conducted in providing services to over 100 residents of Brgy Jagbuaya, Tuburan, Cebu on December 3.

The atmosphere buzzed with activity as medical professionals offered consultations and medications, while others provided haircuts, pet vaccinations, and delicious meals. Smiles were abundant as residents received much-needed care and support.

This successful initiative, orchestrated with the support of Vice Mayor Hon. Danilo M. Diamante, showcased the power of community partnerships in improving the lives of citizens. The event stands as a testament to the dedication and commitment of all those involved in serving the people of Brgy. Jagbuaya.

The event showcased a remarkable display of talent, with participants dazzling the audience through their impressive vocal performances and infectious holiday cheer. Contestants demonstrated not only their extraordinary singing abilities but also their passion for spreading joy during this festive season.

With an exceptional lineup of talent, the judges faced a tough challenge in determining the winners, as each performance was a testament to the creativity and dedication of the participants. The competition highlighted the vibrant diversity and skill within the 14CMOBn.
