For newly registered businesses in quarterly mode, kindly coordinate with CTO office prior to paying your business taxes for us to update your Tax Order of Payment.

PWD AID IN BARANGAY DISTRIBUTION

Each beneficiary will receive ₱2,000 today April 18, covering financial support for the months of March and April 2026.

The payout runs from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with no long lines observed on-site, as the distribution remains quiet and orderly.

Beneficiaries are only required to present their original PWD IDs to help facilitate faster transactions.

The program is implemented under a local ordinance approved by the Cebu City Council, aimed at providing targeted assistance to qualified PWD residents in the city.

Authorities also advised that beneficiaries who are unable to claim their aid during the barangay distribution may proceed to the Cebu City Treasurer’s Office from April 21 to 23.

Available services include:

DVMF – deworming, pet registration, anti-rabies vaccination, consultation
CAD – consultation, urban gardening, free seedlings
DEPW – drainage declogging, desilting, road and drainage repair, footpath, asphalting
CCL – legal advice, affidavit, notarial services
CHAMP – medical inquiries (hospital and laboratory), medicines
DWUP – electricity connection assistance, demolition assistance
DSWS – solo parent, PWD, senior citizen, LGBTQ, aftercare, adoption
CCMC – laboratory (blood typing), dental consultation, internal medicine, pharmacy
BPLO – permit inquiries
OCCR – civil registry services, PSA and LCR documents, consultation
CAO – tax declarations, certifications, property records
DPS – street lighting, tubig project

BPLO ON-SITE INSPECTION IN SAMBAG I & II

The Cebu City Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) is currently conducting a field inspection and monitoring operation within Barangay Sambag I and Barangay Sambag II today.

We would like to inform everyone who has lost their ID that it is now available for claiming at our office at BPLO (SM Seaside Branch). Kindly proceed to our office during working hours and bring a valid proof of identity for verification.

📢 PUBLIC ADVISORY: SKELETAL WORKFORCE SCHEDULE

Please be advised that the Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) will be operating on a SKELETAL WORKFORCE this coming Friday, April 10, 2026.

This is to allow our staff to participate in the BPLO UPSKILLING AND RETOOLING program, aimed at providing you with faster and more efficient service.

April 6, 2026 — we are thrilled to officially open the Cebu City 24/7 Government Services Hub! From dreams to reality, this is a milestone for our city.

As soon as Government offices close tomorrow at 5 PM, the 24/7 Hub will open to serve you round the clock. This is made possible through the Executive Order #027 Series of 2025, also known as "An Order Creating the Cebu City 24/7 Government Services" or the "Mayor of the Night."

This initiative addresses the concerns raised by the BPO industry to solve absenteeism and pre-employment requirements issues - by extending government services beyond regular hours, providing convenient and efficient transactions not only for night shift workers but for all residents. It also strengthens inter-agency cooperation among local and national offices, promoting Cebu City as an innovative and inclusive city that operates and serves its people 24/7.

We will begin by opening select local offices as a test run for the soft launch of the 24/7 Government Hub. The following Cebu City Government offices will initially operate 24/7, based on popular demand:

1. Office of the City Teasurer (CTO) - Issuance of Community Tax Certificates (CEDULA) and miscellaneous / selected payments
2. Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) - occupational permit, Mayor's clearance and delivery permit
3. Cebu City Health Office (CCHO) - Health Card issuance for individuals with normal chest X_Ray result
4. Office of the City Civil Registrar (OCCR) - Process request for PSA and LCR copies of Civil Registry Documents , Mobile Registration and Consultation.
5. Cebu City Traffic Office (CCTO) - assessment of payment of violations

Those are the initial services we offer as part of the Mayor of the Night initiative. Soon, additional services and offices will be opened to better serve the cebuano community.
