As we begin another work week, Senate Minority Leader Kuya Alan Peter Cayetano reminds all Filipinos, especially those entrusted with public office and public service, of a simple responsibility: follow the law, apply it equally, and uphold the rights of every person.
This reminder is especially meaningful this Civil Service Month, as we recognize the men and women who serve the Filipino people every day. Public service carries the responsibility to uphold the Constitution, act with fairness and integrity, and ensure that the law protects everyone equally, regardless of whether one is rich or poor, powerful or ordinary.
May we continue to build a culture of public service where the law is respected, the Constitution is defended, and every Filipino is treated with dignity and fairness.
