Arcaflor Maniapao Elementary School observed National Toothbrushing Day 2026 to promote proper oral hygiene among pupils. The activity aimed to increase awareness on the importance of regular toothbrushing in maintaining good dental health.

Teachers guided the pupils on correct toothbrushing practices and emphasized the importance of brushing teeth at least twice a day. Pupils actively participated and showed cooperation and enthusiasm during the activity.

The celebration was meaningful and effective in strengthening pupils’ awareness of oral health and encouraging them to practice proper toothbrushing habits both in school and at home.

Your strategic brilliance, focus, and determination truly stood out, and your journey along the Road to Davraa is a powerful testament to your dedication and hard work. 𝐃𝐑. 𝐌𝐄𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐄 𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐍̃𝐎𝐒-𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐂𝐈𝐎 is the Schools Division Superintendent of DepEd Digos City Division, exemplifying visionary leadership in a national context challenged by literacy and learning gaps. Rising from classroom teacher to division superintendent, she has consistently empowered educators and teams to implement strategic, evidence-based solutions that enhance student outcomes.

A graduate of the Master of Arts in Teaching, major in English Language Arts (2002) from the Philippine Normal University, Dr. Estacio led Digos City Divisionto become the sole division in the Davao Region to achieve proficient Grade 6 results in both the English Language Learning and Assessment (ELLNA) and the National Achievement Test (NAT) for two consecutive school years (SY 2023–2024 and SY 2024–2025).

Under her leadership, the division institutionalized responsible use of artificial intelligence in schools and offices, developing the Davao Region’s first Operations Manual on AI Utilization to guide its integration in teaching, learning, and administrative processes. She also spearheaded the creation of eight localized and contextualized curricula aligned with national standards and ensured full implementation of the K-12 program across 48 public schools in Digos City.

Dr. Estacio serves in key national roles, including as a member of the National Technical Working Group on National Assessment and the National Reading Program, and as a resource person on classroom assessment. Balancing professional excellence with personal dedication, she is also a devoted wife and mother of two sons, embodying leadership that integrates both public service and family values.

Davao City, Philippines — In a refreshing end-of-year treat, the teachers of Arcaflor Maniapao Elementary School enjoyed a well-deserved Christmas getaway yesterday at Davao Bamboo Sanctuary and Ecological Park in Malagos, Davao City. Nestled in a lush ecological setting, the sanctuary provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and holiday cheer.

Surrounded by towering bamboo groves and serene natural landscapes, the group took time away from their classrooms to unwind and bond with colleagues. The park’s fresh spring pools, picturesque gardens, and peaceful ponds offered a peaceful escape from the hustle of daily work life. Teachers also found the environment ideal for reflection and camaraderie ahead of the new school year.

The getaway not only celebrated the season of giving but also honored the dedication of the educators, giving them a chance to recharge and celebrate the festive spirit together in nature. With laughter, shared meals, and moments of quiet appreciation for the tranquil surroundings, the event marked a joyful close to the year.
