The Lupong Tagapamayapa of Barangay Sasa conducted its Monthly
Meeting to discuss matters pertinent to the effective implementation of the Katarungang Pambarangay Program

The Agenda included:

1. Summary and status report cases handled during May 2026
2. Accomplishment reports and updates from the different teams
3. Discussion and scheduling of the upcoming Courtside Barangay Forum
4. Other matters concerning the promotion of peace, order, and conflict resolution within the Barangay.

The meeting highlighted the importance of cooperation, accountability, and continuous improvement in delivering efficient dispute resolution services to the community.

May 14, 2026 I Dialogue Conference conducted with the Lupon Chairman Jerry Licarte on the disputes involving minors, in the presence of the representative from the CSWDO. This conference aims to promote peaceful resolution, understanding, and the welfare of the children involved through proper mediation and guidance.

Regular monthly meeting of the Lupong Tagapamayapa play a vital role in maintaining peace and order, and harmony within the community. These meetings provide an opportunity to review ongoing and resolved cases, ensuring that disputes are handled fairly and efficiently, and strengthen coordination among members.

Lupon Chairman Jerry Licarte emphasized the importance of making every effort to settle disputes at the Barangay level. He highlighted that resolving cases within the community helps promote faster more accessible, and more harmonious conflict resolution. That is why the Lupong Tagapamaya continues to introduce new innovations and techniques in handling cases, ensuring that mediation and conciliation processes are more effective, fair and responsive to the needs of the people.

We are proud to announce that the Lupong Tagapamayapa of Barangay Sasa, under the leadership of Hon. Jerry J. Licarte, Lupon Chairman, has been recognized as one of the Top Performing Lupong Tagapamayapa in Davao City.

The body secured the 2nd Place ranking with an impressive score of 96.5% during the onsite validation conducted by Ma'am Evelyn T. Deocampo, LGOO VII, DILG Davao City Operations Office.

The validation activity was successfully carried out in coordination with the Lupon member Mrs. Carmen L. Abraham, Mrs. Lourdes A. Respicio, Mrs. Narceinee N. Biliran, Mr. Jaime C. Yap, Jr., Mr. Jaime D. Malazarte, Mr. Wenefredo L.Lozarita, Lupon Secretary Maria Crestie C. Cutler, Kgd. Mary John Abdul Mercado, and KP Clerk Monnette A. Calipayan.

This achievement reflects the team's commitment and dedication to maintaining peace and order, and efficiently resolving disputes within the community.

Barangay Sasa under the leadership of our Barangay Captain Jerry Licarte has been recognized as a top -performing Lupong Tagapamayapa in Davao City, with notable achievements in community-based dispute resolution. The evaluation criteria included operational efficiency, adherence to settlement procedures, record -keeping, and a high case settlement rate.
