EPS WORKERS

Per HRD Korea email, received by POEA GPB today 26 June 2020:

There was another confirmed COVID-19 of E-9 foreign labors in Korea today. The government (Ministry of Employment and Labor) is really taking the increased number of COVID positive seriously and has lot of concerns.

We know that the Philippines also has new confirmed COVID-19 cases and things are not also good in Korea.

Until the situation improves, it is difficult to proceed for both regular and committed workers.

This measure is for the safety of both employers and Filipino EPS workers.

Processing of EPS workers at POEA GPB window counters is temporarily suspended for Regular and Sincere Workers.

ONLY THE KOREAN LANGUAGE TRAINING WILL PROCEED.

ALL EPS workers are advised to monitor the next EPS advisory.
