Graduation is more than a finish lineโitโs a turning point filled with both excitement and uncertainty. Recognizing this, the University Assessment and Guidance Center (UAGC) created a space where students could pause, reflect, and reconnect with themselves before stepping into the next chapter of their lives.
On April 6, 14, and 16, 2026, the UAGC successfully conducted its Psycho-Spirituality Seminar for graduating undergraduate students across campuses. The sessions focused on strengthening mental well-being, deepening spirituality, and helping students rediscover their sense of purpose as they prepare for life beyond the University.
More than just a seminar, it became a meaningful experience. Through honest conversations, guided reflections, and shared stories, students were encouraged to look inwardโexamining their values, acknowledging their struggles, and embracing their growth. It was a reminder that while careers are built with skills, lives are shaped by purpose and resilience.
The initiative also reflects the Universityโs support for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), emphasizing that student success includes both personal and professional readiness.
The sessions were led by dedicated resource speakers who brought warmth and insight into every discussion. Dr. Emmie M. Cabanlit facilitated the seminars at Mintal and Malabog Extension campus, Mr. Arvin Jhon M. Abadiez guided participants at Tagum-Mabini Campus, and Dr. Randy A. Tudy led the sessions at Obrero Campusโeach creating an environment where students felt heard, supported, and inspired.
As the seminar concluded, students left not only with new perspectives but also with a deeper understanding of themselves. In the midst of deadlines and future plans, they were reminded to care for their inner well-being and to move forward with intention.
Through initiatives like this, UAGC continues to show that education is not just about preparing students for work, but more importantly, preparing them for life.
