𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐚 𝐍𝐢𝐲𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐧: 𝐏𝐂𝐀 𝐗𝐈 𝐌𝐚𝐬 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐢𝐬𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐥

Matagumpay na naisulong ng Philippine Coconut Authority Rehiyon XI, sa pamumuno ni Regional Manager Juvy T. Alayon, ang taunang pagtitipon ng mga magniniyog bilang bahagi ng mas pinaigting at komprehensibong pagpapatupad ng Mobile Health Services (MHS) sa ilalim ng Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan (CFIDP), alinsunod sa Republic Act No. 11524. Layunin ng programang ito na higit pang mapalawak ang serbisyong pangkalusugan at mapabuti ang kapakanan ng mga magsasaka ng niyog at kanilang mga pamilya sa iba't ibang
pamayanan sa Rehiyon XI.

Noong Mayo 27, 2026, naging kauna-unahang benepisyaryo ng naturang programa sa taong ito ang mga magniniyog mula sa iba't ibang barangay ng Santa Maria, Davao Occidental. Kanilang natanggap ang iba't ibang serbisyong medikal na kinabibilangan ng konsultasyong pangkalusugan, laboratory testing, serbisyong dental, at ang bagong inilunsad na serbisyong optikal na naglalayong higit pang mapalawak at mapalalim ang serbisyong pangkalusugan para sa mga benepisyaryo.

Sa buong taong 2026, nakatakdang libutin ng Philippine Coconut Authority XI ang mga piling munisipalidad at syudad sa Davao del Sur, Davao del Norte, Davao de Oro, Davao Oriental, Davao Occidental, gayundin| ang mga barangay ng Davao City, upang maihatid ang
kinakailangang serbisyong medikal sa mga magniniyog at sa kanilang mga pamilya, bilang patunay ng patuloy na pagsusulong ng ahensya sa kalusugan, kapakanan, at kaunlaran ng sektor ng niyugan.

𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟓𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐆𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐤𝐚 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲

Gawad Saka is the DA’s most prestigious annual award, launched in 1970 to recognize outstanding individuals, groups, and institutions in the agriculture and fisheries sector whose exemplary achievements have significantly contributed to national food security, productivity, and rural development.

Today, May 26, 2026, DA-RFO XI joined and participated by its attached bureaus and line agencies with RM JUVY T. ALAYON conducted the awarding of Regional Winners for the 7 categories wherein four of them are National Finalists.

Under Coconut Category, the awardees are the following:

1. MR FELIPE HIQUIAL, JR. – OUTSTANDING COCONUT FARMERS
2. KATIPUNAN SMALL COCONUT FARMERS MULTIPURPOSE COOP. – Outstanding Coconut Farmers Association.

Mr. Hiquial is also a National Finalist and the validation was conducted last May 13, 2026.

𝐏𝐂𝐀 𝐗𝐈 𝐉𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐒 𝐅𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐄𝐑'𝐒 𝐅𝐈𝐄𝐋𝐃 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

In celebration of the Farmers and Fisherfolk Month, the Philippine Coconut Authority XI proudly took part in the Farmer’s Field Day 2026 held at DARCES, Manambulan, Tugbok District, Davao City on May 21, 2026, with the theme "𝘗𝘢𝘨𝘣𝘪𝘣𝘪𝘨𝘢𝘺-𝘗𝘶𝘨𝘢𝘺 𝘗𝘢𝘳𝘢 𝘴𝘢 𝘔𝘢𝘨𝘴𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘬𝘢'𝘵 𝘔𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘴𝘥𝘢 𝘴𝘢 𝘎𝘪𝘵𝘯𝘢 𝘯𝘨 𝘏𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘵 𝘒𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘴".

Highlights included showcasing coconut food and non-food products, NCFRS registration, distribution of Aromatic Dwarf planting materials, and promotion of health and medical programs for farmers and fisherfolk.
