March 11 marks a moment that many Filipinos will never forget.
On March 11, 2025, at around 11:03 PM, a historic and deeply troubling event unfolded โ the illegal arrest and kidnapping of former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte. This act stands as a serious violation of our nationโs sovereignty, our Constitution, and the rule of law.
For many Filipinos, this incident symbolized a painful betrayal by those entrusted to protect our country and its people. Instead of upholding justice and safeguarding the rights of the nation, the actions taken that night disregarded due process and the dignity of the Filipino people.
One year has passed, yet the memory of this injustice remains alive in the hearts of many. The call for truth, accountability, and justice continues to echo across the nation.
As we reflect on this moment in our history, let it strengthen our unity as Filipinos. Let us stand firm against abuse of power, corruption, and the misuse of authority. Let us continue to demand justice for the issues that remain unresolved.
Above all, let us continue to pray for our country and for the safe return of our former President. May the Philippines overcome these challenges with courage, faith, and unity, as we strive for a just and progressive future for our nation. ๐ต๐ญ๐

OUR PRESIDENT.
The United Moro and Indigenous Peoples Movement expresses its strong, firm, and unwavering support for the declaration of Vice President Sara Z. Duterte to run for
President of the Republic of the Philippines.
We firmly believe that she stands as a leader with a clear, consistent, and genuine commitment to advance, protect, and uphold the welfare, rights, and aspirations of the Moro and Indigenous Peoples across the country. For many years, our communities have sought meaningful representation and inclusive governance, and we recognize in her leadership the sincerity, strength, and political will necessary to address the long-standing concerns of our sectors.
Vice President Duterte has demonstrated her capacity to lead with decisiveness, compassion, and a deep understanding of the diverse cultural and social realities of our nation. She carries a vision that resonates with our shared aspiration for peace, unity, equitable development, and respect for our identity, traditions, and rights as Moro and Indigenous Peoples.
In this regard, we earnestly call upon all members of our sector, our leaders, our communities, and all our fellow Filipinos who believe in genuine change to unite and stand in solidarity. Let us extend our full support, actively participate, and work together to ensure her victory in the upcoming election.

It is deeply disheartening to witness universities and educational institutions, who should stand above political controversies, openly taking sides and making statements regarding the impeachment of Vice President Sara Duterte. These institutions, whose primary role is to provide proper education and develop the minds and character of the youth, are instead engaging in political debates that compromise their integrity.
By involving themselves in this political issue, they have lost sight of their true purpose and allowed their dignity to be diminished. Instead of focusing on what truly matters educating students and nurturing responsible citizens they have become part of shallow and paid political spectacles.
These institutions have failed to address the critical issues our nation is facing today: rampant corruption in government, the alarming 2025 General Appropriations Act, the removal of PhilHealthโs budget, the erosion of our countryโs laws and rights, and many more pressing concerns that affect the Filipino people.
Now, the United Moro and Indigenous People Movement calls on everyone to focus on the real issues confronting our nation. Let us discuss what truly matters, resolve what must be resolved, and work together to free ourselves from the hardships we currently face.
It is time to reclaim the integrity of our institutions and refocus on education that empowers and uplifts, not on political distractions that divide.

Motorcade: 1:00 PM | Assembly area: Freedom Park
Program Proper: 4:00 PM | Rizal Park
Dalhin ang inyong paninindigan, sigaw ng katarungan, at pagmamahal sa bayan. Sama-sama tayong tumindig para sa katotohanan at karapatan!
