đźš’DIFFUN FIRE STATION SUPPORTS NATIONAL SCHOOL SAFETY WEEK THROUGH FIRE SAFETY LECTURES

Personnel of Diffun Fire Station participated in the simultaneous Flag-Raising Ceremony in line with the Department of Education’s observance of National School Safety Week. As part of the activity, BFP personnel conducted fire safety lectures for students and faculty members of Magsaysay National High School, Bannawag Integrated School, and Balagbag Elementary School.

The lectures aimed to raise awareness of fire hazards, promote fire prevention practices, and equip learners and school personnel with essential knowledge on proper fire safety measures and appropriate actions during fire emergencies. Through these initiatives, the BFP continues to strengthen school preparedness and foster a culture of safety within the educational community.

đźš’ DRAG AND CARRY DRILL | BFP DIFFUN FIRE STATION

Personnel of Diffun Fire Station, under the leadership of SFO4 Gilbert P Mauricio, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, conducted a Drag and Carry Drill as part of their regular skills enhancement and physical conditioning activities.

During the drill, personnel practiced using a chair as an improvised litter to safely assist, lift, and transport a victim, particularly in situations where conventional rescue equipment may not be readily available. The activity focused on proper handling techniques, coordination, balance, and safe movement of the victim during emergency response operations.
