The National Organic Agriculture Achievers Awards (NOAAA) aims to acknowledge the exemplary contributions of the Local Government Units (LGUs), Focal persons, Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs), and Small Farmers in developing and promoting organic agriculture.

The field validation for the Mindanao area was held on Jul22-26, 2014.

Updates and status of Organic Aquaculture Program implementation nationwide for 1st and 2nd Quarter 2014 (held on June 9-11)

The event was mainly composed of fishpond cooperator participants from Quezon, Rizal, Laguna, and Cavite provinces.

The MOA consists of conformity on Organic Aquaculture adoption among the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources- Region 4A (BFAR-R4A), Local Government Unit (LGU), and Fishpond Cooperator. (MAY-21-14)

A farm visit to a prospective organic operator, Mr. Jerry Coloma, of Brgy. Masuso, Pandi, Bulacan was conducted to evaluate the proposed area if viable for organic aquaculture production. (APR-26-14)

A farm visit to conduct an interview with the owner, Mr. Augusto Causin, who is a potential organic cooperator and interested in converting from conventional production of tilapia to organic.(APR-21-14)

The first Organic Aquaculture Zone in the Philippines, covering 9,920 square meters, was launched at Brgy. L. Pimentel, San Luis, Aurora on April 25, 2014.
