DTI-Eastern Samar Provincial Office needs one (1) Negosyo Center Business Counselor (NCBC) – Job Order (with a daily rate of P847.41) to be assigned in the Municipality of Maslog, Eastern Samar.

Qualifications:
1. Must be a resident of the Municipality of Maslog, Eastern Samar;
2. A graduate of four (4)-year course preferably Business-related course;
3. With good written and oral communication skills;
4. Has a good command of English Language;
5. Computer literate, familiar on MS Office applications and the internet;
6. Good interpersonal skills, especially in handling people’s organizations with various cultural backgrounds, and other government and private agencies;
7. Preferably familiar with planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of programs; and
8. Flexible and a team player.

Major Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Provide/facilitate the various services being offered by the center to include, but are not limited to the following: Business Registration; Business Advisory; and, Business Information and Advocacy;
2. Review, analyze/process, and package relevant business data needed by the clients, particularly the MSMEs;
3. Implement projects and conduct activities of the center that will impact in the growth of the clients, particularly the MSMEs;
4. Assist in the development of linkages with the services providers, industry associations, private companies and government agencies;
5. Attend trainings, seminars, and other capability-building activities that will improve the delivery of services to the clients, particularly the MSMEs subject to the policy stated under Section 7.2.2 of DO 17-52, Series of 2017 ;
6. Monitor and recommend business process improvements for MSMEs as well as the performance of the center/s;
7. Prepare and submit monthly reports/accomplishments of the Negosyo center; and
8. Perform other functions that may be assigned.

which can be downloaded at www.csc.gov.ph);
2. Copy of Transcript of Records (TOR);
3. Copy of Certificate of Trainings, if applicable;

The Negosyo Center Jipapad successfully conducted the 2024 NSB and PPG Impact Assessment Evaluation, and 2025 NSB and PPG Potential Beneficiaries Validation and Profiling on March 5-7, 2025, in Brgy. Cagmanaba and San Roque, Jipapad.

The initiative aimed to evaluate the impact of the 2024 Livelihood Seeding Program (LSP) - Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (NSB) and Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa (PPG) on beneficiaries' businesses and validate potential recipients for the 2025 cycle. A total of 38 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) were assessed, consisting of 3 male and 35 female entrepreneurs, including 4 senior citizens.

“This activity allows us to see how past beneficiaries have progressed and ensures that future support is directed to those who need it most,” said Negosyo Center Jipapad Business Counselor Jomar Oros.

The validation process highlighted success stories while identifying areas where further assistance is required.

Through these efforts, Negosyo Center Jipapad continues to strengthen local enterprises, foster economic resilience, and empower entrepreneurs in Jipapad.
