Ang 𝐏𝐂𝐎 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦, ay nakikiisa sa sambayanan sa pagdiriwang ng Linggo ng Pamilyang Pilipino, na may temang “Pamilya, Pagkakapantay-pantay at Kapakanan ng Bata”. Kinikilala natin ang kahalagahan ng pamilyang Pilipino bilang pundasyon ng ating bansa.

Sa pagdiriwang na ito, ating bigyang-halaga ang pamilya bilang tahanan ng pagkakapantay-pantay, pagmamahal, at paggalang, habang itinataguyod ang kapakanan ng bawat bata. Ang sama-samang pagsasalo-salo ng pamilya sa hapag-kainan ay mahalagang paraan upang mapatatag ang maayos na samahan, pagkakaunawaan at ugnayan ng bawat isa.

Alinsunod sa Memorandum Circular No. 136, s. 2026, suspendido ang trabaho sa mga ahensya at instrumentalities ng National Government, kabilang ang GOCCs at state universities and colleges, sa September 28, 2026, simula 1:00 PM.

Magpapatuloy naman ang operasyon ng mga ahensyang nagbibigay ng basic at health services, disaster preparedness and response, at iba pang mahahalagang serbisyo.

Ang hakbang ay bahagi ng paggunita sa 34th National Family Week at Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day 2026.

A glimpse of the GAD Agenda Workshop highlights where PCO GFPS committee members and GAD Advocates engaged in collaborative activities and discussions.

The 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 conducted a GAD Agenda Workshop on August 4-5, 2026, at the Second Floor Conference Room, New Executive Building, in preparation for the six-year GAD Agenda formulation.

Facilitated by Atty. Judie Rose T. Dimayuga, this two-day workshop focused on equipping PCO personnel members of the Gender and Development Focal Point System committee and GAD Advocates with technical knowledge and skills in sex-disaggregated data (SDD) collection and gender analysis.

To commence the activity, the PCO Undersecretary and GFPS Chairperson Atty. Ruth Abigail C. Sestoso emphasized that the GAD Agenda is more than a six-year plan—it is a declaration of how we, as public servants, choose to lead, reflecting the PCO’s commitment to fairness, inclusivity, compassion, and accountability. She further underscored that advancing gender and development is a shared responsibility of the entire PCO.

Assistant Secretary Arthur Lawrence A. Los Baños, in his closing remarks, emphasized the importance of translating knowledge into action, encouraging staff to examine office policies, programs, systems, and services through a gender lens and to contribute meaningful inputs in crafting the agency’s GAD Agenda.

Through this workshop, PCO strengthens its collective capacity to turn gender-responsive knowledge into meaningful action and shape a GAD Agenda that advances equality and inclusion.

The Presidential Communications Office (PCO), through its Gender and Development (GAD) Focal Point System (GFPS), joins the commemoration of the 17th anniversary of Republic Act No. 9710, also known as Magna Carta of Women, signed into law on August 14, 2009.

As we mark this milestone, PCO reaffirms its commitment to fostering a workplace where everyone is respected, empowered, and given meaningful opportunities to participate and thrive.

Ngayong buwan ng Agosto, nakikiisa ang 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 (𝐏𝐂𝐎) sa pagdiriwang ng 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 at ng 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤.

Bilang pagkilala sa kahalagahan ng pagpapasuso at sa kapakanan ng mga inang empleyado, pinasinayaan ng PCO noong ika-14 ng Nobyembre 2024 ang Breastfeeding Room na matatagpuan sa 2nd Floor, New Executive Building. Hanggang sa kasalukuyan, patuloy itong nagbibigay ng ligtas, malinis, at komportableng espasyo para sa mga empleyadong nangangailangan nito.

Higit pa sa isang pasilidad, ang Breastfeeding Room ay sumasalamin sa patuloy na pagsisikap ng ahensya na suportahan ang pagiging ina, pangalagaan ang kapakanan ng mga bata, at magtaguyod ng isang inklusibong opisina na nagbibigay-daan sa kababaihang nagnanais magampanan ang propesyon na hindi makakalimutan ang tungkulin sa kanilang pamilya.

The 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 proudly takes part in the Pride Month celebration. The Gender and Development Focal Point System (GFPS) has organized various activities to highlight PCO’s commitment to being an inclusive workplace, where everyone can express themselves freely without fear of discrimination.

The centerpiece of these activities is the Pride Forum, which brings together PCO personnel from the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies to promote inclusivity, enhance visibility, and foster a supportive environment where participants can engage openly, share their experiences, and collaboratively develop future programs and initiatives. By prioritizing acceptance and dialogue, the event underscores the organization's dedication to diversity, equity, and continuous improvement in creating a welcoming workplace for all.

Through meaningful conversations and collaborative initiatives, PCO remains dedicated to fostering a culture where every individual is respected, valued, and empowered to thrive.

Let's take a look back at the highlights of the 2026 GAD Orientation, held on 25 May 2026 at the Social Hall, New Executive Building.

Together, we continue to champion gender sensitivity, inclusivity, and a more equitable workplace here at the Presidential Communications Office (PCO).
