San Miguel Corporation (SMC) is set to takeover the operations of Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) starting September 14, 2024.

There are some reassignment of terminals aims to decongest the country's main gateway. New NAIA Infrastructure Corporation (NNIC) general manager announced :

TERMINAL 1 : exclusive to Philippine Airlines (PAL)
TERMINAL 2 : will serve domestic flights for PAL & Cebu Pacific
TERMINAL 3: will accommodate International Carriers
TERMINAL 4: will be for AirAsia flights.
