𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗟𝗧

The 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 conducted by the Commission on Elections of the Crop Science Students’ Society has officially concluded. Presented herein are the official and final results for the position of 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙡𝙤𝙧 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘼𝙛𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙧𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙒𝙚𝙡𝙛𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝘼𝙘𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙘 𝙔𝙚𝙖𝙧 2025–2026.

A total of 𝟰𝟲 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 successfully cast their votes during the election period.

The Commission on Elections congratulates 𝗠𝗿. 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗹 𝗘𝘂𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗼 for being duly elected as the Councilor for Student Affairs and Welfare. We also extend our sincere appreciation to all candidates for their dedication and commendable efforts throughout the campaign period.

𝗚𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗮, 𝗞𝗮-𝗖𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲! The Special Election 2025 for the position of 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗲 has officially begun. This election provides students the opportunity to exercise their right to vote and choose a leader who will represent student concerns and promote student welfare.

The election will be conducted online today 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟵:𝟯𝟬 𝗔𝗠 𝘁𝗼 𝟱:𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗠. All eligible voters are encouraged to participate actively and cast their votes wisely in support of responsible and effective student leadership.

𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗖 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 | The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) of CSSS closes the Crop Science Department Campus Special Elections.

The COMELEC Chairperson led by Hon. Princess Joy Repulles together with the commissioners successfully deliberated the nomination kit submitted by the candidates providing the qualifications, and requirements needed by the commission.

The declaration of the official lists of candidates for the Councilor (Student and Academic Affairs) of Crop Science Students' Society will be posted later on.

Upon meeting with the administration, there are no aspiring candidates for the 1st-4th year representatives applied since the filing of candidacy opened, the selection commitee will appoint students from the department to fill-in the vacant positions.

However, the special elections for Councilor must still proceed. This is a developing story.

𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟭. Download and print the Certificate of Candidacy (COC) from the Commission on Elections using this link:

(All must be in written form and must be passed during the enrollment. For now, submit a soft copy of your COC by taking a clear photo showing your wet signature)

𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟮. Take a clear photo of your Certificate of Registration obtained from the Office of the University Registrar, if none, take a clear photo of your Certificate of Admission/Enrollment showing your enrolled program which is the BS Agriculture (Agronomy or Horticulture)

𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟯. Attach a 1 x 1 photo in your COC and provide a lone or individual copy of 1 x 1 photo.

𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗦: As the Special Elections of the Commission on Elections of the Crop Science Students' Society ended, here are the official and final results for the 1st year Representatives (Agronomy and Horticulture).

There are 32 1st year Agronomy students and 35 1st Year Horticulture students who casted their votes.

Congratulations to Ma. Avril Canillas and Loraine Buglosa as the newly-elected first year representatives of the Crop Science Students' Society A.Y. 2025-2026. Also, to the candidates, your efforts never go unnoticed, you did a good work!

And we appreciated all the 1st year students who participated on this suffrage.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: Schedule of the Election Day for the 1st Year Representative.

To all incoming 1st year students of the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Agronomy and Horticulture) there will be a Student Election for the 1st Year Representatives this Monday, August 4, 2025, at the Agronomy Park, MSU General Santos City.

Bring with you your ballpen. Your active involvement in this election is a must.
