𝗗𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗶𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗹

In celebration of Women’s Month, the 7th Sangguniang Kabataan, spearheaded by SK Chairperson Elijah Joanne Polistico-Pacquiao and the Committee on Social Inclusion and Equity headed by Hon. Russel A. Olais, successfully launched “Dagan Kababaihan: Run for Strength, Run for HER” in partnership with CRCY-Labangal and JBO Labangal on March 29, 2026.

The fun run began at Shell Gas Station along Makar Highway and concluded at Saavedra Saway Central Elementary School, drawing more than 100 runners from across Barangay Labangal. Participants filled the route with vibrant colors and energy, symbolizing unity, strength, and support for women’s empowerment.

At the finish line, the first 10 runners were honored with medals and hygiene kits containing sanitary pads, napkins, tissues, a handheld fan, alcohol, and a tote bag, while the first 26 early-bird participants proudly received the official Dagan Kababaihan event shirt.

The event highlighted the community’s commitment to honoring women’s resilience, promoting health and wellness, and celebrating the spirit of Women’s Month through active participation and solidarity.

𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟴 - 𝟮𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | Sa pangunguna ng SK Labangal sa ilalim ng Committee on Health, at sa pakikipagtulungan ng Labangal Peer Facilitator Club, matagumpay na naisagawa ang Peer Facilitator Training noong March 28–29, 2026 sa Tierra Montana Hotel, General Santos City. Kaakibat ng temang “Peers in Action: Building Safe Spaces for Youth Mental Health,” layunin ng training na ihanda ang mga kabataan upang maging mas handa sa pakikinig, pag-unawa, at pagbibigay ng suporta sa kapwa kabataan na dumaraan sa iba’t ibang hamon at pagsubok.

Sa loob ng dalawang araw, nabigyan ang mga kalahok ng kaalaman at kasanayan upang maging epektibong peer facilitators, mga Kabataang handang umagapay, maging sandigan, at magsilbing ligtas na espasyo para sa iba. Sa pamamagitan ng mga discussions, workshops, at interactive activities, mas napalalim ang kanilang pag-unawa sa mental health awareness, empathy, active listening, at tamang paggabay sa kapwa. Pinatunayan ng training na ang pagiging mabuting tagapakinig at maaasahang kaibigan ay mahalagang bahagi ng pagbuo ng isang mas ligtas at mas maunawaing komunidad para sa kabataan.

Higit pa sa isang training, ang programang ito ay naging paalala na ang simpleng pakikinig, pag-unawa, at presensya ay maaaring maging malaking tulong sa isang taong nangangailangan. Sa paghubog ng mas maraming peer facilitators, mas lumalakas din ang komunidad ng mga kabataang handang magmalasakit, tumulong, at maging bahagi ng positibong pagbabago.

𝜧𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒉 𝟐𝟎–𝟐𝟐, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 | Sa loob ng tatlong araw, naging tahanan ng pagkatuto, pagkakaisa, at paghubog ng mga leaders ang Norfolk Pine Garden Resort sa Barangay Malandag, Malungon, Sarangani Province para sa KUYOG: Leadership Camp na ginanap noong March 20–22, 2026. Layunin ng camp na ihanda ang mga kabataang lider sa mas malaking responsibilidad sa kanilang komunidad sa pamamagitan ng mga talakayan tungkol sa leadership, good governance, agricultural innovation, at sustainable development.

Sa kabuuan ng camp, natutunan ng mga kalahok ang kahalagahan ng pagiging matatag sa harap ng pagsubok, pagkabigo, at rejection, pati na rin ang halaga ng pagkakaroon ng tiwala sa sarili at positibong pananaw bilang lider. Naging daan din ang iba’t ibang activities, workshops, at project presentations upang mas mapalalim ang teamwork, camaraderie, at samahan ng bawat isa. Sa pamamagitan ng mga interactive sessions at collaborative tasks, mas naipakita ng mga kalahok ang kanilang kakayahan sa pagbuo ng mga ideya at proyektong makatutulong sa kanilang komunidad.

Nagtapos ang camp na may bagong kaalaman, mas matibay na samahan, at mas malinaw na layunin para sa bawat kalahok bilang mga kabataang handang mamuno, maglingkod, at maging bahagi ng positibong pagbabago sa kanilang komunidad.

Inaanyayahan ang lahat ng kwalipikadong kabataang manlalaro na lumahok sa Open Tryouts para sa Under-15 Men’s at Women’s & Open Women Basketball bilang paghahanda sa Summerlympics 2026.

Mga Kwalipikasyon:
• Lalaki at babae na nasa edad 15 pababa
• 17-30 ang edad para sa open women category
• May interes at kakayahan sa larangan ng basketball
• Handa sa pagsasanay at kompetisyon

Layunin:
• Makabuo ng opisyal na koponan na lalahok sa Summerlympics 2026

City Mayor Hon. Lorelie G. Pacquiao is a proud citizen of Barangay Labangal. She is a proud alumna of Capitol University of Cagayan, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management. She further strengthened her expertise in governance by completing her Master’s Degree in Management, major in Public Administration, at the Philippine Christian University.
For 11 years, she served as the Chief Executive Officer or Punong Barangay of Barangay Labangal, where she spearheaded transformative programs and high- impact projects—particularly in social services and infrastructure development, including extensive road networks. Her leadership brought numerous awards and recognition to the barangay. As President of the Liga ng Barangay, she sat as an ex- officio City Councilor in the 19th Sangguniang Panlungsod, while also serving as Vice President of the Liga ng Barangay Region 12.
During her tenure in the City Council, she ably chaired key committees: Committee on Barangay Affairs Committee on Public Works and Infrastructure Committee on Gender Equality, Women, Family, Children’s Welfare, and Population Management.
She authored and co-authored meaningful and progressive legislation that championed the rights and welfare of the people. Among these are:
- The General Santos City Code of Parental Accountability for the Protection of Children’s Rights,
-The creation of the Local Council on Anti-Trafficking in Persons and the
-Anti-Violence against Women and Their Children Council The 2020 Revised Gender and Development Code of General Santos City.
Her work speaks of her heart for public service and her enduring commitment to uplift the lives of every General. A devoted wife, a nurturing mother, and a steadfast leader—she exemplifies the true spirit of an empowered woman.
As City Mayor, she has led General Santos City to greater heights, earning multiple awards and national recognition—including the prestigious Seal of Good Local Governance, a testament to the quality of service delivered to the Generals. She was also recognized as the Top 13 Best Performing City Mayor out of 148 city mayors in the entire Philippines.

𝐒𝐁𝐌 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐞𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐚𝐨

Hon. Graziel Pacquiao is an empowered young woman and dedicated legislator serving Barangay Labangal, recognized for her compassionate leadership and strong commitment to public service. As Chairperson of the Committee on Social Services and Tourism, she actively leads programs that promote social welfare and community development. She continues to take an active role in conducting community services that respond to the needs of her constituents, especially the vulnerable sectors. With a hands-on approach, she ensures that initiatives are felt at the grassroots level. Her leadership reflects integrity, purpose, and a genuine desire to uplift the lives of others.
