Calling all artists, arts organizations, local government units, and academic institutions!

The National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) will once again spearhead the celebration of National Arts Month (NAM) in February 2020 through Ani ng Sining: Philippine Arts Festival.

Anchored on the theme “Ani ng Sining”, the NAM celebration aims to showcase and document excellent artistic expressions; promote the unique identity and values of local communities; rally local government support for fine arts and cultural programs; and provide opportunities that harness and strengthen local artists.

Communities and organizations across the country are encouraged to organize creative activities in celebration of NAM 2020. Activities are preferably held in public spaces in order to engage both external and internal stakeholders as participants.

Individuals and organizations interested to participate, collaborate, and contribute to the NAM 2020 celebration may send the details of their activities to the National Arts Month (NAM) Secretariat under the Office of the Deputy Executive Director of NCCA. Download and accomplish the Project Brief Form and send to the following emails: [email protected] or [email protected]. Collated activities/events will be part of the integrated NAM 2020 Calendar of Events – a concerted effort to plot and harvest all creative pursuits directed towards the month-long celebration. Deadline of submission is on December 10, 2019.
