‎Together with the Honorable Members of the Sangguniang Bayan, the session focused on various matters concerning the welfare and needs of the people of Maasim.

‎The Committee conducted a hearing and scrutiny of the proposed measure, with the report noting the potential benefit of the partnership in providing funeral and mortuary assistance to constituents of Maasim, while also recommending considerations to ensure fair and inclusive services.

‎A proposed ordinance establishing comprehensive guidelines for the recruitment and accreditation of Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS) and Barangay Health Workers (BHW), defining their duties and responsibilities, and providing additional benefits, incentives, and appropriate funding for these vital community workers.

‎The passage of these two measures on Third and Final Reading marks another important step toward strengthening child development programs, supporting frontline community health workers, and improving public services for every Maasimian.

‎55th Regular Session of the 17th Sangguniang Bayan of Maasim
‎
‎Yesterday morning marked an important milestone for the Municipality of Maasim as municipal officials witnessed the unveiling and culmination of the municipality’s brand-new X-ray machine, a significant addition to our local healthcare facilities.
‎
‎Following the successful installation, testing, and demonstration of the new equipment, the activity highlighted the municipality’s continuing commitment to strengthening healthcare services and improving access to essential diagnostic facilities for every Maasimian. This modern equipment is expected to provide more accessible and efficient diagnostic services for the community.
‎
‎In the afternoon, the Sangguniang Bayan of Maasim convened its 55th Regular Session, headed by the Honorable Vice Mayor Visitacion Nambatac. The session provided an opportunity for the honorable members of the council to continue deliberating on matters concerning the municipality’s programs, services, and development.
‎
‎Through meaningful discussions, careful consideration, and continued collaboration, the Sangguniang Bayan remains committed to supporting initiatives that promote better public service, responsive governance, and the welfare of every Maasimian.

‎Earlier today, the Sangguniang Bayan of Maasim successfully conducted its 54th Regular Session, led by the honorable members of the council headed by the Vice Mayor Hon. Visitacion Nambatac. During the session, various matters concerning the welfare, development, and progress of the municipality were thoroughly discussed and deliberated upon for the benefit of the people of Maasim.
‎
‎Following the regular session, 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐀𝐥𝐝𝐰𝐢𝐧 𝐙. 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧 spearheaded a public hearing on four important draft ordinances aimed at strengthening governance, public services, and community development within the municipality. These proposed measures include:
‎
‎1. The establishment and regulation of the official page of the Sangguniang Bayan of Maasim;
‎
‎2. The institutionalization of the Child Development Service Program to further support the welfare and development of children in the municipality;
‎
‎3. The creation of comprehensive guidelines for the recruitment, accreditation, duties, responsibilities, incentives, and benefits of Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS) and Barangay Health Workers (BHW);
‎
‎4. The establishment of a comprehensive policy governing the use of the municipal bus.
‎
‎These initiatives reflect the commitment of the local government to transparency, accountability, efficient public service, and the continued advancement of the Municipality of Maasim. Together, we continue to build a stronger and more progressive community for all.

𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 | Ceremonial Turnover and Signing of Deed of Donation of Fire Tanker

‎Earlier today, the Municipality of Maasim witnessed the Ceremonial Turnover and Signing of the Deed of Donation for 𝗼𝗻𝗲 (1) 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗿 donated by 𝗕𝘂𝗵𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Maasim Fire Station. The ceremony marked a significant partnership between the private sector and government in strengthening the municipality's emergency response and fire protection capabilities.

‎The donated fire tanker is expected to enhance the operational readiness of BFP Maasim in responding to fire incidents, disasters, and other emergencies, ensuring faster and more efficient service to the people of Maasim.
