SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 605 km East of Guiuan, Eastern Samar (10.1°N, 131.2°E). Shear Line affecting the eastern section of Visayas. Northeast Monsoon affecting Luzon. Meanwhile, another Low Pressure Area outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility is being monitored and based on all available data, it is estimated at 2,495 km East of Mindanao.

FORECAST:

Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Caraga and Davao Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to Shear Line/Trough of LPA. (Possible flash floods or landslides due moderate to at times heavy rains)

Cagayan Valley, Apayao and Bicol Region will have cloudy skies with light rains due to Northeast Monsoon. (No Significant Impact)

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies w/ isolated light rains due to Northeast Monsoon.(No significant impact)

The rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to Localized Thunderstorms. (Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms)

Strong winds from Northeast will prevail over Luzon and the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao with rough seas (2.8 to 4.5 m).
