PMC βKABAYANIHAN RUNβ 2026 β LAOAG LEG SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDED!
The 4th Marine βMakusugβ Brigade successfully conducted the PMC βKABAYANIHAN RUNβ 2026 β Laoag Leg this morning of 30 August 2026 at the Ferdinand E. Marcos Memorial Stadium, Laoag City, Ilocos Norte.
The ceremonial opening was spearheaded by Hon. James Bryan Q. Alcid, City Mayor of Laoag, who led the Ceremonial Gun Start for the 50K Category, officially signaling the race's start.
Highlighting the culmination of the event was the awarding of the Top Three (3) Male and Female finishers in all race categories, led by Brigadier General Bob R Apostol Philippine Navy (Marines), Commander, 4th Marine Brigade.
Special recognition was also given to the youngest runner, three-year-old V Lynx Altair Garcia, who completed the 3.2-kilometer category alongside his parents, and the oldest runner, 60-year-old Ms. Joan Gabit, who participated in the 10-kilometer category. Both runners were presented with certificates in recognition of their inspiring participation, exemplifying that the spirit of Kabayanihan knows no age.
Adding excitement to the celebration, gift items were also awarded to lucky runners during the raffle draw, making the event even more memorable for the participants.
The 4th Marine βMakusugβ Brigade extends its heartfelt appreciation to all runners, partners, sponsors, stakeholders, volunteers, and supporters for their invaluable participation and support, which contributed to the successful ex*****on of the PMC Kabayanihan Run 2026 β Laoag Leg.
