Our school community joins the global celebration of Earth Hour by encouraging everyone to switch off non-essential lights from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM. This symbolic activity reminds us that even the simplest actions can contribute to protecting our planet and conserving energy.
Earth Hour is more than just turning off the lights—it is a powerful movement that raises awareness about environmental protection, climate change, and the importance of caring for the Earth. By participating, we show our commitment to building a more sustainable and environmentally responsible community.
Let us take this one hour to reflect on how we can help protect our planet through small yet meaningful actions in our daily lives. Together, we can make a difference and inspire others to take part in protecting the only home we have—our Earth. 💚✨

We don’t only plant trees and clean our surroundings—we also strive to uplift communities through knowledge and preparedness. 🌱🤝
In line with this commitment, DGCHS’s YES-O and Science Club successfully conducted the outreach activity “Laging Handa: First Aid and Survival Basics” at Agmonti Elementary School last January 16, 2026.
The activity aimed to equip children with essential knowledge on what to do before, during, and after a tragedy, as well as basic first aid skills that can help save lives. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to CDT Harrey Antiquina and trainee Ashley Sollano of the Youth Drive Team Special Surgical Procedure Assistance Division for generously sharing their knowledge and expertise, making the discussion on emergency preparedness more informative and impactful. The initiative was made even more meaningful with the active participation of our science teachers, who provided guidance and support throughout the program.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Mr. Arnel P. Palencia, Head Teacher I of Agmonti Elementary School, and all the teachers of AES for warmly welcoming us, supporting the initiative, and allowing this activity to be conducted in their school. Together, we take one step closer to building a safer and more prepared community.
