The WVSU-University Students' Alliance has been elected as the new 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐥𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐨 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 (LYDC) for the years 2025- 2027.

The election was conducted earlier this afternoon, February 21, 2025, at the Iloilo City Sangguniang Panlalawigan Session Hall, presided over by Iloilo City SK Federation President Hon. Jelma Crystel Implica. Attended by more than 20 youth and youth-serving organizations in the city, the LYDC elections aimed to elect a committee chair for each of the nine (9) Centers of Participation.

As one of the Committee Chairs, the Alliance will be part of creating the Iloilo City Local Youth Development Plan, serving as the core of advocacy on youth participation in nation-building and youth empowerment, and having access to project funding.

The Alliance is grateful to be given the trust and opportunity to serve the students, community, and beyond in a much larger scope. Always in all ways, 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘢 𝘴𝘢 𝘢𝘥𝘣𝘰𝘬𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘺𝘢 𝘬𝘢𝘨 𝘴𝘢 𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘰𝘥-𝘵𝘶𝘰𝘥 𝘯𝘨𝘢 𝘒𝘈𝘞𝘚𝘈!
