Hon. Hiljohn L. Macadag-um, Punong Barangay of Brgy. Tiring, proudly received a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of his invaluable support to the successful implementation of Project Kusog Lusog.

The Barangay Tiring Chief Tanod Mr. Arnulfo Gelin attended the “Empowering Defense: Key Conversations on Security Enhancement” held today, May 14, 2026, at the Cabatuan Convention Center, conducted by the Iloilo Provincial Police in cooperation with the Cabatuan Municipal Police Station.

This activity aims to strengthen community safety, promote awareness, and enhance coordination among local security forces in maintaining peace and order in the municipality.

Strengthening Digital Governance and Disaster Preparedness in Brgy. Tiring

The Barangay Council of Tiring headed by Punong Barangay Hiljohn L. Macadag-um continues to strengthen digital governance and disaster preparedness through the purchase of a laptop intended for the implementation of the Barangay Information Management System (BIMS) and for trainings and seminars related to disaster preparedness and response.

This initiative aims to improve efficient public service, organized data management, and the capability-building of the barangay in times of emergencies and disasters.
