USA DECLARES SPECIAL NON-WORKING DAYS FOR UNDAS '25

In accordance with Memorandum No. 32, s. 2025, the University of San Agustin (USA) declared Oct. 31 and Nov. 1, as special non-working days in observance of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day.

Moreover, classes and office operations will end at 12:00 noon on Oct. 30, to allow personnel and students to travel to their hometowns and spend time with their families.

Regular classes and office operations will resume on Monday, Nov. 3. | via Charlain Angelique Jover

This celebration highlights Indigenous Peoples' (IP) culture and heritage while raising awareness of social rights, security, literacy and reproductive health.

The EduCARE provides a social engagement and creativity through art— the Face Paint Activity on October 18, 2025 at USA Main Campus - Rada Park.

The Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs) under the CLASE Department raised literacy in celebration of National Library Science Month through Storytelling by BLIS and promoted Women's Health Awareness for Breast and Reproductive Health Awareness Month by SIHAY.

The celebration of IP Month is a time to recognize Indigenous Peoples by nurturing and valuing knowledge with awareness, readiness, while spreading happiness.

𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞, 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞! ☔️

This week, two tropical cyclones, “Dante” and “Emong,” are currently being monitored within the Philippine Area of Responsibility. Dante is already moving away toward Taiwan, while Emong just formed in the West Philippine Sea and could head north, but still near our zone. A potential third system, a Tropical Cyclone-like Vortex (TCLV1), is expected to develop east of the Tropical Cyclone Advisory Domain and may intensify into a storm as it moves toward southern Japan.

This week’s still a little chaotic weather-wise. so Augustinians, don’t forget your umbrella and always check for updates.

On June 20, EduCARE received a Certificate of Recognition from the 2025 Gawad Agustino. We are incredibly proud and joyful to have achieved this! Teamwork, dedication, perseverance, and hard work have culminated in a truly triumphant ending. Despite busy schedules, we ensured we delivered our services with love and dedication to our beloved Indigenous Peoples (IPs) community. Our commitment to inclusion is rooted in our Augustinian core values—𝓒𝓪𝓻𝓲𝓽𝓪𝓼, 𝓤𝓷𝓲𝓽𝓪𝓼, 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓥𝓮𝓻𝓲𝓽𝓪𝓼—allowing us to embody the true essence of service as we strive to provide better opportunities for our IPs. As we conclude the 2024-2025 academic year, may this experience bring us valuable realizations, shared goals and dreams, and important lessons learned as we continue to elevate this organization.
