SerbisCHO Daily | June 2–5, 2026

Another week of service, commitment, and dedication has come to a close.

From delivering essential health services to our communities, conducting coordination meetings, preparing reports, and carrying out countless tasks behind the scenes—every effort matters in ensuring that quality, reliable, and accessible healthcare reaches every Ilonggo.

The work may vary from day to day, but our shared mission remains the same: strengthening health services across all Iloilo City District Health Centers and responding to the needs of the people we serve.

As we wrap up this week's labor of love, we recognize the hard work of every health worker, staff member, and partner who continues to make public health service possible.

Health Celebration | World Environment Day

In celebration of World Environment Day 2026, the Iloilo City Health Office proudly joined Iloilo City’s environmental initiatives, recognizing that a clean, safe, and sustainable environment is essential to protecting public health and improving the quality of life of every Ilonggo. We commend the successful Coastal Clean-up Activity led by the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO), in partnership with DENR, SM City Iloilo, barangay officials, volunteers, and environmental partners, whose collective efforts help keep our coastlines and communities healthy.

The City Health Office continues to support programs that promote environmental cleanliness, proper waste management, flood prevention, and community participation, as these play a vital role in preventing diseases and ensuring a healthier future for all.

As we uphold our shared responsibility in caring for the environment, we encourage everyone to practice proper waste segregation, dispose of waste responsibly, and actively participate in clean-up activities to help build a cleaner, healthier, and more livable Iloilo City for present and future generations.

Health Program in Focus - Diabetes Camp for Children Living with Type 1 Diabetes

The Iloilo City Health Office, through the Non-Communicable Diseases Program(NCD), proudly supported the Diabetes Camp for children living with Type 1 Diabetes through fun, interactive, and meaningful activities that helped campers learn practical self-care skills, develop healthy habits, and gain confidence in managing their condition.

More than just a camp, it became a safe and supportive space where children were reminded that they are not alone in their journey.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Changing Diabetes in Children (CDiC) for its invaluable partnership and continued commitment to improving the lives of children with Type 1 Diabetes in Iloilo City. We also sincerely thank Rainbow Camp Foundation for successfully organizing the camp and creating a meaningful experience for the children.

Let's help children with Type 1 Diabetes live life to the fullest.
