Two-Day Performance Audit of Accountable Officers

A two-day Performance Audit was conducted by the Iloilo Provincial Treasurer's Personnel for the Accountable Officers of the Municipality of Concepcion to assess their compliance, efficiency and effectiveness in the proper collection, recording and remittance of government revenues.

The activity aims to strengthen accountability, promote transparency and ensure adherence to established rules and regulations in the performance of their duties.

PERFORMANCE AUDIT & REVENUE AUDIT

September 21, 2026

Earlier today, Iloilo Provincial Treasury personnel, Mr. Marlon E. Bayona, Ms. Angelie B. Zerrudo and Ms. Russel M. Grande conducts the Performance Audit of Accountable Officers of Municipality of Concepcion as part of its continuing efforts to strengthen accountability, transparency and efficient revenue administration.

The activity focused on reviewing the performance and compliance of accountable officers in the proper collection, recording, safeguarding, and remittance of government revenues, as well as ensuring adherence to existing rules and regulations.

This initiative underscores the Municipality’s commitment to responsible fiscal management, improved revenue collection, and effective delivery of public services.

Pursuant to the Memorandum of the Provincial Treasurer and Section 63 of the Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act No. 12001 (Real Property Valuation and Assessment Reform Act), the deadline for the Real Property Tax Amnesty is extended until Monday, July 6, 2026, since July 5, 2026 falls on a Sunday.

All Concepcionanon taxpayers are encouraged to avail of the amnesty on or before July 6, 2026. No further extension shall be granted unless otherwise authorized by law.

Earlier today, the evaluators from the Provincial Treasurer's Office, Mr. Marlon E. Bayona and Ma'am Lovella V. Ariola conducted a thorough Local Treasury Operation Evaluation.

It was a productive session focused on assessing accomplishments, identifying areas for improvement of Local Revenue Collection, strengthening our commitment to efficient and transparent public service and other Treasury operations.
