The Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) of the Municipality of Infanta, Pangasinan together with DENR CENRO and PENRO, informs the public, particularly those concerned with the Enhanced National Greening Program (ENGP), of the following awarded timber plantation areas:

A female reticulated python, measuring 90 cm in length, was voluntarily surrendered by Ms. Flordeliza Modelo of Brgy. Patima for proper assessment and handling.

After checking its condition, the python was found suitable for release back into its natural habitat. ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ

MENRO extends its sincere appreciation to Ms. Flordeliza Modelo for her responsible decision to surrender the wildlife. Her cooperation is a meaningful contribution to wildlife conservation and protection. ๐Ÿ’š

This responsible act supports the protection of wildlife under Republic Act No. 9147, or the Wildlife Resources Conservation and Protection Act, which promotes the conservation and protection of wildlife and their natural habitats.

As part of the celebration of Civil Service Month 2026, the officials and employees of the Local Government Unit of Infanta united in the conduct of KAWALINISANโ€”a clean-up drive inspired by the words โ€œKawaniโ€ and โ€œKalinisan,โ€ reflecting the commitment of public servants to environmental responsibility and community welfare.

The activity covered the stretch from the front of the Municipal Hall, crossing Bamban Road, up to Barangay Nangalisan. Through the collective efforts of LGU employees, a total of 1,867.3 kilograms of waste materials were collected, consisting of:

โ™ป๏ธ 59 kilograms of metals and cans
โ™ป๏ธ 110 kilograms of plastic bottles
โ™ป๏ธ 163.5 kilograms of other plastic materials
โ™ป๏ธ 1,534.8 kilograms of other waste materials

This accomplishment highlights the importance of teamwork, environmental stewardship, and volunteerism among government employees. More than just a clean-up activity, KAWALINISAN serves as a reminder that every public servant plays a vital role in promoting a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable community.

The activity was also honored by the presence and participation of our Honorable Mayor, Dr. Virgilio F. Vallarta, whose support and leadership continue to inspire initiatives that strengthen environmental protection and civic engagement in the Municipality of Infanta.

Together, we demonstrate that public service extends beyond our offices and into the communities we serve. Through KAWALINISAN, we reaffirm our commitment to keeping Infanta clean, green, and resilient for future generations.
