BFP R9 Taway Fire-Substation personnel spearheaded by SFO2 Ringo A Clarang, Acting Fire Sub-Station Commander under the supervision of FSINSP ATTY. HERMAN I TING, CE, MPA, MFM-IPIL MFS, opened the week with the Traditional Monday Flag-Raising Ceremony and the Turn-Over of Duties and Responsibilities, setting the tone for renewed discipline, purpose, and commitment to public service.
Far more than a routine observance, the flag ceremony is a solemn reminder of the responsibilities entrusted to every firefighter. As personnel stood in formation and honored the Philippine flag, they reaffirmed their pledge to safeguard lives and property, uphold integrity, and serve the community with professionalism and patriotism.
The gathering also strengthened unity, camaraderie, and organizational discipline among station personnel and internsโaligning individual duties with the collective mission of readiness and resilience.
Following the ceremony, the formal turnover of responsibilities ensured continuity of operations and accountability. Proper endorsement of tasks keeps personnel informed of ongoing activities and operational concerns, guaranteeing seamless transitions and sustained preparedness.
As the week begins, every firefighter is reminded that their mission extends beyond emergency responseโit is about being ready, responsible, and dedicated to protecting the community at all times.
