Regular Meeting of the Federation of Secretary, Iriga City Chapter.
The meeting transpired at Barangay Hall of La Trinidad, Iriga City on September 26, 2024. Hon. Julma Ramos, the Acting Punong Barangay formally welcome the Secretaries and other guests during the meeting. Afterwards, the federation formally welcome the new member from Barangay San Francisco.
The highlights of the meeting was
ponder and saliently discussed by Ma’am Sheela Medina, CLGOO VI of Iriga City. The agenda are as follows:
1. Conduct of Barangay Assembly for the 2nd semester of CY 2024
2. Formulation of Barangay Development Plan
3. Accreditation of CSO's & NGO's
4. Preparation of LTIA
5. Other matters

The meeting was graced by the presence of our commendable CLGOO VI Sheela M. Medina, wherein she discussed the Orientation on LBC No. 155 s 2024, "Financial Assistance to LGUs (FA to LGUs)". One highlight of the meeting was the acknowledgment of the newly appointed Barangay Secretaries of Barangays San Andres and Santiago, Iriga City.
On behalf of the Federation of Barangay Secretary, we also extend our thanks and gratitude to the Punong Barangay of Sto. Domingo, Hon. Teofilo N. Ibarreta Jr. and the Council, for allowing us to conduct the federation meeting in your Barangay Hall.

The Federation of Barangay Secretary in the City of Iriga convened last July 4, 2024 at Barangay Hall of La Purisima, Iriga City.
The DILG Officer of the City, LGOO VI Sheila M. Medina, eloquently discussed various issues concerning the development of each Barangay, particularly focusing on diversifying food sources and ensuring a greener environment free from diseases that might affect Irigueño people. The "HAPAG sa Barangay Project”was a strategy that aimed to ensure food security in all sectors of the country.
Furthermore, DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2024-053 also known as the "NATIONWIDE
IMPLEMENTATION OF THE BARANGAY ROAD CLEARING OPERATIONS, ASSESSMENT, VALIDATION, AND RECOGNITION UNDER THE BAGONG PILIPINAS PROGRAM" was also highlighted by the DILG Officer.
We would like also to extend our thanks to the Barangay Council of La Purisima, Iriga City under the leadership of Punong Barangay Salvador A. Serrano for the warm welcome to our federation.
