Nilagdaan na ni President Bongbong Marcos ang ECCD System Act, o ang RA 12199, na nagpapalakas sa ating early childhood care and development (ECCD) sector! Sa bagong batas, magiging standardized na ang SGs ng CDT and CDWs, magkakaroon na ng ECCD Offices sa bawat LGU, bukod pa sa ibang hakbang para ng ECCD sa bansa.

Kasama ang co-authors at Co-Chairperson Senator Win Gatchalian at Rep. Roman Romulo, at si former Commissioner at ngayo'y TESDA Secretary Kiko Benitez sa mga champions ng batas na ito, at ng ECCD sa Pilipinas.

WE ARE HIRING GIP INTERNS!

The DSWD Field Office 02 is now accepting applications for the Government Internship Program (GIP). Please note that the GIP implemented by the DSWD is distinct and separate from the GIP offered by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE). Each agency has its own guidelines, objectives, and implementation procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 to 25 years old;
• Must be an In-School Youth (ISY), preferably incoming 3rd or 4th year college student;
• Priority will be given to beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps);
• Must be a member of the Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines Inc. (PYAP);
• The family’s monthly income must not exceed ₱13,837, based on the existing poverty threshold.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Duly accomplished Application Form;
• Birth Certificate (PSA-issued or from the Local Civil Registrar);
• Current school registration form and valid school ID;
• Original copy of Certificate of Indigency with official barangay seal.

📢 MAHALAGANG PAALALA PARA SA MGA PWD ID HOLDERS

Kung ang iyong PWD ID ay hindi makita sa DOH Registry, narito ang mga hakbang na dapat gawin:

1. I-verify ang Iyong Detalye:
Bisitahin ang https://pwd.doh.gov.ph/home.php at gamitin ang "ID Verification" tab. Siguraduhing tama ang format ng ID number. Makipag-ugnayan sa inyong LGU para sa tamang paraan ng pag-input.

2️. Kung lumabas ay “NO RECORDS FOUND,” Makipag-ugnayan sa PDAO:
Pumunta sa Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) ng inyong lugar. Sila ang makakatulong upang beripikahin kung nakarehistro na ang iyong ID sa system.

⚠️ Babala mula sa DOH:
Ang pag-gamit ng pekeng PWD ID ay isang krimen na pinaparusahan sa ilalim ng RA 7277 Section 46. Ang mga lalabag ay maaaring pagmultahin o makulong.

PABATID SA PUBLIKO:

Kaugnay sa gagamaping halalan ngayon, Mayo 12, 2025, ang lahat ng ating 25 Child Development Center (CDC) ay bukas para sa mga magulang na nais Iwan pansamantala ang kanilang mga anak sa pangangalaga ng ating mga Child Development Worker(CDW) upang sila ay makaboto. Makipag-ugnayan lamang po sa CDW na nakatalaga sa inyong mga barangay. Maraming salamat po!

TINGNAN: Sa ika-labing dalawa ng Abril ng kasalukuyang taon ay naganap ang Moving-Up Ceremony para sa mga 199 Pre-school completer na mga bata mula na produkto ng 25 Child Development Centers ng ating bayang San Agustin sa ilalim ng Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Service. Ito ay mayroong temang "Munting Hakbang Tungo sa Maunlad na Kinabukasan".

Naging mas makabuluhan ang programang ito dahil sa mensahe na ibinahagi ng ating panauhing pandangal na si Ms. Evelyn P. Maddela, dating estudyante ng Bautista Child Development Center at ngayon ay isa nang matagumpay na propesyonal.

Ang programang ito ay naisakatuparan sa pamamagitan ng pagtutulungan ng mga lokal na opisyal, ang Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office, mga Child Development Workers, at mga magulang at tagapag-alaga ng mga day care children.

Mula sa lahat ng bumubuo sa Lokal na Pamahalaan ng San Agustin sa pangunguna ng ating butihing Mayor Hon. Cesar A. Mondala, binabati namin ang lahat ng ating mga chikiting na nagsipagtapos ng Happy Graduation at Congratulations sa inyo at sa inyong mga magulang!
