Firearm and Ammunition Recovered in Enemy Harboring Site

Capiz - On June 16, 2025, personnel from 62SAC of 6th Special Action Battalion, EODK/9U of Force Support Battalion, and 81SAC of Rapid Deployment Battalion, all of this Unit together with Philippine Army discovered enemy harboring site and arm cache during counterinsurgency operation along the boundaries of Brgy. Aglinab and Brgy. Lahug both in Tapaz, Capiz.

Recovered in the operation were one M16 rifle with one magazine, 48 rounds of 5.56mm ammunition, one CPP flag, one Bagong Hukbong Bayan flag, assorted medical supplies, and other personal belongings.

62SAC, 6SAB took custody of the recovered items for documentation and proper disposition.

The successful discovery of an enemy harboring site and the recovery of firearm, ammunition, and subversive materials highlights the unwavering commitment of security forces in countering threats to national security.

CTG Member Arrested in Agusan del Norte

Agusan del Norte - On June 16, 2025, personnel from 12SAC of 1st Special Action Battalion of this Unit provided tactical support to PNP Internal Security Operations Division, Intelligence Group and 1304th Maneuver Company, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 13 in a counterinsurgency operation that resulted in the arrest of a.k.a. Nick in Brgy. Lawan-Lawan, Las Nieves, Agusan del Norte.

Nick is a PSR-listed CTG member under Squad 1, dismantled Guerilla Front 88, North Central Mindanao Regional Committee for 1st Quarter CY 2021. He was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for Murder with Criminal Case No. 7174 dated February 18, 2022 issued by RTC, Branch 7, 10th Judicial Region, Bayugan City, Agusan del Sur.

1304th MC, RMFB 13 took custody of the arrested suspect for documentation and proper disposition.

The success of the operation demonstrates the effective collaboration among PNP units and their unwavering commitment to pursuing justice and dismantling the remnants of communist terrorist groups in the region.
