As part of this meaningful observance, every Wednesday, our office showcases elements of 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲 as a simple yet heartfelt expression of respect and appreciation for the rich heritage, identity, traditions, and contributions of Indigenous Peoples.

✅ Nilagdaan na ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. ang Republic Act No. 12326, na nagtakda ng limang (5) taong termino para sa mga opisyal ng Barangay at Sangguniang Kabataan.

✅ Alinsunod sa batas, ang susunod na Barangay at Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) ay nakatakdang idaos sa Nobyembre 13, 2028.

✅ Dahil dito, hindi na itutuloy ang BSKE na dating nakatakda sa Nobyembre 2, 2026.

✅ Sa kasalukuyan, nananatiling epektibo ang RA No. 12326 dahil wala pang inilalabas na Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) ang Korte Suprema na pansamantalang magpapahinto sa pagpapatupad nito.
