Teaching is a calling that requires immeasurable passion, strength, and love. Today, as we honor all our educators, I was deeply moved by the story of one of our very own teachers who, despite facing the hardship of a leg amputation, continues to embody the true spirit of service.

In partnership with our MSWDO, our LGU had the honor of providing a brand-new wheelchair to Ma'am Elvira Corres help restore mobility and comfort to this dedicated educator.

Our teachers give so much of themselves to shape the minds and futures of our children. Ensuring they receive the care, dignity, and support they deserve is the least we can do in return.

To all our teachers, thank you for your unwavering commitment. We honor you today and every day! 🍏💚

📣 EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 10-01-2026, SERIES OF 2026 SUSPENSION OF CLASSES AND WORK FOR TEACHING AND NON-TEACHING PERSONNEL IN ALL PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SCHOOLS IN JULITA, LEYTE ON OCTOBER 05, 2026 (MONDAY).

In observance of National Teacher’s Day under Republic Act No. 10743, Mayor Irvin R. Dy has issued Executive Order No. 10-01-2026 to honor, recognize, and express deep appreciation for the hard work, dedication, and vital contributions of our teachers and school personnel to our community and youth.

📌 KEY HIGHLIGHTS:

✅️Scope: All classes and work for teaching and non-teaching personnel in all public and private schools (elementary and secondary) across Julita, Leyte are SUSPENDED on October 05, 2026 (Monday).

✅️Purpose: To give our beloved educators and school staff the well-deserved opportunity to observe, participate in, and celebrate National Teacher’s Day activities.

✅️Implementation: All school heads and administrators are enjoined to undertake necessary measures for proper dissemination and implementation.
