Kawayanons availed of free tooth extraction services through “Libreng Ibot, a project of Vice Governor Roselyn Espina-Paras” in cooperation with the Local Government Unit of Kawayan, today, October 3, 2026, at the Function Hall of the Kawayan Municipal Building.

Vice Governor Espina-Paras said the project was first conducted in Barangay Caraycaray and was continued in Kawayan after seeing that many residents were in need of free tooth extraction services.

“First time kaming nag-conduct ng libreng bunot was in Brgy. Caraycaray. Naging successful, at nakita naming marami pala talagang nangangailangan ng bunot, kaya ipinagpatuloy natin ngayon ito sa Kawayan,” Vice Governor Espina-Paras said.

Dr. Daryll Martinez, President of the Parañaque Dental Chapter, also demonstrated the proper way of brushing teeth and shared basic oral health practices with the participants.

Meanwhile, Vice Mayor Jake S. Espina expressed his support for the activity and thanked Vice Governor Espina-Paras and the participating dental professionals for bringing the free dental services to Kawayan.

Personnel from the Kawayan Primary Care Facility, Barangay Health Workers, and Mayor’s Office also assisted in facilitating the activity and attending to the beneficiaries.
