BASIC FIRST AID TRAINING | BINALIAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

Kayapa Fire Station, in coordination with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Kayapa, conducted a Basic First Aid Training for the students and personnel of Binalian National High School.

The training aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge and skills in providing immediate and appropriate first aid during emergencies and unexpected incidents.

The activity was conducted under the guidance and supervision of SFO3 Conrado R Tugade, Officer-in-Charge, in support of the school’s commitment to strengthening emergency preparedness and safety.

Ang vehicular fire ay maaaring mangyari dahil sa electrical problems, fuel leaks, overheating, at iba pang sira o problema sa sasakyan. Sa pamamagitan ng regular na maintenance at tamang pag-iingat, makatutulong tayo upang maiwasan ang sunog sa sasakyan at maprotektahan ang buhay at ari-arian.

πŸ“Œ Regular na ipasuri at ipa-maintain ang sasakyan. Siguraduhing maayos ang electrical system, engine, battery, fuel system, at iba pang mahahalagang bahagi ng sasakyan.

πŸ“Œ Suriin ang mga electrical wires at connections. Iwasang gamitin ang sasakyan kung may napansing sirang, maluwag, o exposed na wiring na maaaring pagmulan ng spark o short circuit.

πŸ“Œ Mag-ingat sa pagtagas ng gasolina o iba pang flammable fluids. Kapag may naamoy na gasolina o may napansing tagas, patayin ang makina at ipasuri agad ang sasakyan.

As part of its continuous efforts to maintain operational readiness, personnel of Kayapa Fire Station conducted hands-on drills on proper rescue drag and carry techniques.

These activities aim to enhance personnel proficiency in the safe and proper handling, lifting, dragging, and carrying of victims during emergency situations, particularly when immediate evacuation or movement to a safe area is necessary.

Through regular practice and hands-on training, personnel strengthen their skills in applying appropriate rescue drag and carry techniques while developing teamwork, coordination, communication, and situational awareness essential during fire suppression, rescue operations, and other emergencies.

The activity also reinforces the importance of using proper body mechanics and coordinated movements to safely move victims while minimizing the risk of further injury to both the rescuer and the victim.
