The City Government of Kidapawan through the Kidapawan City Inter-Agency Committee Against Trafficking in Persons and Violence Against Women and their Children (KCIACAT-VAWC) stands in solidarity with the global community in observing the 2026 World Day Against Trafficking in Persons.

Human trafficking is a grave violation of human rights that robs individuals of their dignity, freedom, and future. As we commemorate this important day, we reaffirm our commitment to protecting every child, woman, and vulnerable individual from all forms of exploitation, abuse, and trafficking.

Through strengthened partnerships among government agencies, law enforcement, civil society organizations, and the community, we continue to advocate for awareness, prevention, protection, and the prosecution of offenders. Together, we can create a community where every person is safe, valued, and empowered.

Let us remain vigilant. If you witness or suspect cases of human trafficking, report them immediately to the proper authorities. Every report can help save a life.

Together, let us end human trafficking. Protect lives. Protect dignity. Protect the future.
